“This was a well furnished and clean cottage.”

However for a 7 bed holiday home there was only 1 bathroom/toilet. No laundry facilities. No cleaning products. 1 toilet roll and no kitchen roll. No dishcloth. No house book or visitor book. It felt as if the owners were new to holiday property letting and didn't provide the basics usual in a property of quality. We have used holiday cottages for many years and know what supplies to take. But there are usually things like condiments etc in the kitchen and recommendations of where to eat ...

Sorry you gave such a bad review. We took the decision to put a dishwasher in rather than a washing machine. People normally come on holiday to enjoy and relax not do all their washing while they are on holiday. With regards to information it’s all in the top drawer next to the Wi-Fi. With regards to leaving condiments it’s unhealthy to leave items which other people have used. This is because you don’t know if it’s been contaminated or not . It is a self catering apartment where it includes comfortable accommodation and it doesn’t include all the things you have mentioned. With regards to the bathroom facilities, the property is on the banks of the river and can flood. This is why we can only have one bathroom as it is a special system for this reason. The description of the property states one bathroom so you would have been aware of this. As there were only 3 of you staying we wouldn’t have expected this to be an issue. It also states dishwasher and no washing machine. There was also washing up liquid and a sponge left in the kitchen as we do for every customer. There was also dishwasher tablets. Property Owner
