“Lovely lodge on a quiet site (although may be busier in peak season).”
The lodge lived up to expectations and had everything you would need, The beds were comfortable as were the sofas. Never used the washing machine but perhaps would have done if we had been there for the week. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to visit the area,

Vanessa “Lovely property in beautiful countryside.”
The only things that could help other people are. There are no shaver or electric toothbrush sockets for charging and steps from caravan could have a white stripe on each step for people with sight problems like me. Property was spotlessly clean and Zoe the owner is always st end of phone. Really enjoyed our stay.

I must admit it was only when you asked about the shaving points that I realised we didn't have any, so it is something I'll look into. We did actually have florescent strips on the outside steps, however due to the constant footfall they kept 'lifting' (no matter what industrial glue we used) which caused a potential trip hazard, so we had to remove them. Julie “We loved Tiggywinkles as did our dog Darcy!”
The lodge was home from home, comfortable, well equipped and cosy. Loved the little treats left for us all which was a lovely touch. Great communication from Zoe before and throughout our stay and even though we had to cut pur stay short by a day due to myself and son being unwell, we had a wonderful time and will definitely look to return sometime soon. Great lodge, great location, in fact, everything was great and I can’t recommend it enough!

Spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Lots of nice little touches made it feel homely and cosy. Contact with the owners were great and the guest information book was a fab asset with lots of great ideas of places to visit. There is nowhere in the UK that looks as magical as the Cotswolds in the snow, although maybe I am a bit biased ;)! Just FYI there are some amazing discounted deals for shorter stays to be had Jan, Feb and March next year if you feel the need for a quick getaway. Charlotte “Tiggywinkles was an absolutely lovely lodge to stay in for a little birthday holiday.”
The owners were lovely and kept in contact with us throughout the stay. The fire was an excellent way to warm up from the cold weather after great days out. We will definitely be booking again for a longer stay in the warmer weather

I couldn’t fault it. Only slight downside was the maintenance works going on at the lodge opposite, lots of vehicles moving around and machinery being used from early in the morning.

The site is well maintained, the lodge is spotless and we loved all the finer details. Hot water bottles on every bed the throws, the pictures around makes the place a home from home. The lodge was very warm and comforting and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The information guide had everything you needed to know and more, helped us choose our days out. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
- Kirsty, September 2024What a lovely lady you are for giving us 100/100 and saying such wonderful things about the place, especially seeing as you had no hot water for a few hours one morning, for which I am eternally sorry. Unfortunately, the central heating and the hot water run off the same cylinders and because the heating was on during the night it ran one of the cylinders out, but I was so pleased we got this rectified relatively quickly. To avoid this happening again we now have a 'Guests guide to heating and hot water' so that anyone can resolve the situation and avoid having a 'bad hair day' LOL! Great location for visiting the Cotswolds. 3 great nights sleep in Tiggywinkles could of just stayed in All day & relaxed but too many local places to explore. We are looking forward to returning & staying longer. Great communication from Zoe & the folder with details of where to visit to make the most of your stay is the best we have ever seen.

We would love to have you back for a longer stay anytime and just FYI we have some great deals over the winter months and there are SO many fabby things to see and places to go even in winter, with the surrounding countryside looking truly magical when we get frosts - which seems to be a regular occurrence (beats the rain any day)! Thank you also for private texting me about the plates being too big for the dishwasher. I really do try to offer early check-ins whenever possible, as these late check-ins were always a 'pet peeve' of myself and John when we booked breaks away. However now owning a holiday home I do understand why most places have afternoon check-ins, as there is so much to do, especially when guests are leaving and new ones are arriving on the same day! Once again, a huge thank you for leaving the lodge so beautifully and only using one of the shower rooms and only one bedroom too - what a treat for me! We would welcome you back anytime. I usually hate weekend changeovers as they eat into a large chunk of mine and John's weekend time together, but it literally took me only 1.5 hours to clean instead of the usual 3.5, allowing us a couple of hours and a couple of cheeky glasses of prosecco in our local pub garden - happy days! Really hope you come back to stay for longer next time as there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. Carly “We absolutely loved Tiggywinkles!”
The site is fabulous, beautiful views and very peaceful. The lodge is immaculate and has been furnished to a very high standard. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in whilst staying in holidays homes! Everything was just perfect for a break away. Welcome treats were generous and even our dog was catered for. The local area is great. We enjoyed trips to Burford and Stow On The Wold which were around 25 / 30 minutes away by car and Chipping Norton which is less than ten minutes by car. We will definitely stay here again.

We've only had it since February and we spent so much time, effort and energy making sure it had everything a guest could need for a really nice stay, so your comments really make it all seem worthwhile. We did invest in really good beds and mattresses which ARE on the firm side, but we think they are seriously comfortable too. If you do come back, you must visit Woodstock and Blenheim Palace as they are amazing, along with all the other places recommended in our Guest Information Pack (which took my partner John hours and hours to do)! Got some fab rates for the off season too which you should consider, as the Cotswolds is a fab place to visit whatever the weather. Many thanks again x Property Owner

The interior and decor is to a very high standard with everything you need and more. It’s in walking distance to chipping Norton and 10 - 20 min drive to lots of picturesque villages. Will definitely book again

Everything needed was provided including a very detailed information pack which was most helpful. The balcony faces an open field and as the site is quiet it was lovely sitting outside in the afternoon and evening. We visited Stow Kingham Burford and the Hook Norton brewery which are all only a short drive away. This is an ideal place to visit this area and a lovely lodge to stay in.,Thank you so much

Allen “The mobile home is only a few months old and in very good condition as were the furnishings which are of a high standard.”
It was fully equipped including all necessary cooking and eating implements. The mobile is sited on a caravan site but at the far end from the entrance on an area where only mobile homes and lodges are allowed. There is a good sized patio area with furniture and a gas bbq. The site was nice and quiet mainly with caravans many of which appeared to be on the site fairly permanently. We were made very welcome by the owners who provided good instructions for our arrival and who were easy to contact with any queries during our stay. Allen & Christine Harvey

I'm a bit of a foodie and have always hated it when we have gone away only to find a couple of frying pans, a wooden spoon and a fish slice as the only kind of kitchen implement, so we really have tried to provide a myriad of utensils, mixing bowls, baking and serving dishes etc enabling our guests to cook whatever their hearts desire. I'm glad you approved of the 'site' itself as we think it really is a 'cut above' the norm, which can look a bit tired and tacky. The owners communicated very well with us and upon arrival had left biscuits, tea, coffee and milk which was very welcome and a lovely gesture. The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable with everything in good working order. The location was great for exploring the beautiful Cotswold area and we hope to return again soon. The site itself is quiet and well looked after and very dog friendly. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. We all found the beds very comfortable (and I have a bad back) and it was obvious the beds are new also loved the showers very modern and easy to control. Greg “This mobile home is well-situated, well-presented and spotlessly clean.”
We found the furnishing/beds very comfortable. In summary - two adults and two dogs enjoyed our stay. The location is private at the edge of a caravan Park which was only partly occupied for our stay (April). There is a small Waitrose within walking distance - but you need to cross a busy road. Nearby Chipping Norton and eg Churchill are great for a visit and pub meal.

Samantha “We had a two night stay over Easter weekend, we got to arrive early with the heating already on for us thanks to Zoe who called us early.”
We arrived to a lovely hand written card and biscuits, which made us feel very comfortable. The entire lodge was immaculate and very well decorated. The motion light in the hallway was a lovely touch for checking my child in the night. Water pressure in the shower was good and the Wi-Fi helped us wind down in front of the tv with the fire on in the evening. We also visited the local crocodile zoo and wildlife park which we very much enjoyed.

Adam “Had a call from the owner a few hours before check in to advise it had al been cleaned and was ready for check in at anytime.”
She even offered to put the heating on for us just before we arrived too. Once we arrived the place was just as described. A very modern and comfortable lodge with everything you would need. We were greeted by a welcome card which was hand written and a box of chocolate fingers too. There was even some dog treats , mat, bowl and towel all ready to use as well. Everything was great and we enjoyed a very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend
