“We stayed at Lynton Cottage over the Easter weekend 2025 and couldn’t have been happier with our choice.”

There were 8 adults and 2 babies in our group, and although we were initially a bit apprehensive about space, we needn’t have worried — the cottage was incredibly spacious. We never felt on top of one another; everyone had their own space, and the communal areas were large enough for us all to relax and enjoy time together comfortably. The photos of the cottage are great, but they don’t quite do justice to how beautiful and well-appointed the property really is. Each bedroom was generously sized and equipped with everything we needed. The bathrooms were spotless, and the number of them was just right for our group — no queues or waiting around! The outdoor space was private and perfect for enjoying breakfast alfresco or a BBQ in the evening — a lovely bonus, especially in good weather. The cottage was also well-suited for families with young children. A small cot (ideal for little ones under two) and an IKEA highchair were provided, which made things a lot easier for us. The location is ideal — set in a charming little village just a two-minute walk from a lovely pub, and only a short drive from the stunning Blenheim Palace. It’s a perfect base for exploring the area or simply enjoying a peaceful countryside retreat. The hosts were brilliant in the lead-up to our stay, with quick and helpful communication throughout. We would absolutely recommend Lynton Cottage to anyone looking for a special group getaway. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!
