    “Arrived to a warm house and a bowl of Christmas chocolates.”

    Unfortunately the cleaners hadn’t been before we did though so all the beds and towels were used by the previous guests. A quick call to Sykes sorted it quickly and it was NYE 3pm! Could have done with toilet roll replenished, a tea towel and washing up liquid (and at least 1x dishwasher tablet) but everything else was fine. Comfy beds, hot showers etc. Parking outside the property, M&S nearby, and wonderful Cotswolds hills all around. Recommend The Red Lion Inn at Long Compton with a circular ...

Victoria Cottage is a wonderful Cotswold property ideally located for an adult getaway or an idyllic family holiday.

Moreton-in-Marsh 8 miles; Stow-on-the-Wold 9 miles; Oxford 20 miles.

The ancient town of Chipping Norton, steeped in history and culture, is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the shadow of the Rollright Hills in this unspoilt area of Oxfordshire. Chipping Norton boasts a popular weekly market, numerous book and antique shops, many cafes, restaurants and pubs serving excellent food and local ales, art galleries, a museum and a thriving theatre. Chipping Norton is surrounded by the pretty limestone villages of the Cotswolds and offers many walks and cycle trails from the town centre, together with a Lido, perfect for a relaxing swim at the end of a busy day.
