Mattress in main bedroom needs changing sinks into the middle.

Lovely cottage second time we have stayed there, On arrival we found the kettle wasn’t working, phoned Sykes they were very helpful new kettle arrived 9am the next morning. Great village plenty of eating places and good pubs .

The location is amazing.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The parking is a bit challenging but can be overcome if you have a smaller car. When we arrived, the parking space was completely blocked by trash bins. We called the property manager, and the issue was quickly resolved. The clothes dryer is in a small closet across from the WC on the main floor. It is not hooked up. If you wish to use it, you have to pull it out of the closet and plug t in to the wall socket in the kitchen. This blocks the entrance to the WC and the garage. This point should be disclosed in the description. Or an electrical box installed in the closet so the dryer can be hooked up properly. The only other comment is that the garden is extremely overgrown. It is a lovely place to sit but needs to be maintained. These are small items that are easily fixed. We would definitely rent again.

Great location and a really nice property.

The only issue we had was the downstairs toilet was really cold and so was the shower in the en suite.

There are a few plumbing issues that have been brought up by a number guest that have not been rectified by the owners.

However great location and a really nice cottage overall. We would stop there again if staying in that area again

Town centre close by very conveniently placed pub with nice food 25yards away easy access to other towns and attractions.

Shame about the rain but being able to park half in the garage with a zapper to open was a godsend

We would stay again, just a few negatives.

Water took ages to drain after a shower in the main bathroom, sink tap whined loudly when you turned it on which was annoying during the night. Gutter over porch leaked and struggled sleeping in a double bed rather than a king bed. Great location close to the town. Plenty of toilet roll, dishwasher tabs and general condiments, also dog biscuits. Garden was wild with a small patio area.

What a beautiful cottage right in the middle of chipping norton but on a very quiet street, cottage was very clean had everything that was needed, some lovely pubs cafes & restaurants to eat in, we did what the owner suggested regarding parking the car by leaving the garage open so car can be parked half in half out which kept car off the road & pavement, will definitely be visiting again.

Really fabulous well maintained cottage-all the cutlery crockery/equipment etc really good.

Great beds/sheets and towels and mirrors We came for the feastival having been to chipping norton last year and this cottage was absolutely perfect

Plumbing in main bathroom needs sorting,when emptying hand basin water comes up into bath, A lovely garden,but needs some attention.

Very nice cottage and extremely clean.

Neat little house in an excellent position, literally five minutes from a supermarket and the centre of town.

Smart (satellite) TV and Smart speaker worked very well. Good Wi-Fi. Lots of storage space in the large kitchen. Just one thing to look out for - the towel rail in the en-suite is a bit loose.

We loved our stay at the cottage.

It was in a lovely part of Chipping Norton, close to all amenities but a quiet backwater. Lovely local walks for the dog and a short drive to lots of the tourist hotspots. Parking a bit tricky but parked half in the garage as suggested. Only niggle was that the drains for the bath and sink in the bathroom took ages to drain away.

The property was lovely.

Clean, comfortable and also very generous with the heating. Plenty of nice, large fluffy towels. Good also that the garage door could be left to help with parking as trying to reverse park into the space with a large car is almost impossible because of all the waste bins on the area in front of the garage. Only criticism is it was a shame there wasn't a toilet in the en-suite shower room (it looked to me that a smaller shower cubicle would left enough space for a toilet).

Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

It is the perfect size for a small family and in a really good location. The property is well equipped and has everything you need for a week away. Would happily stay again. Only critique was that the mattress in the main bedroom was a bit too soft for us.

Lovely cottage.

Very spacious, well equipped and clean. Perfect location for exploring Cotswolds walking trails. Off the main street so nice and quiet whilst still being close to shops, restaurants etc.

Delightful cottage in a superb location, and spotlessly clean.

Ideal for our requirements although parking for more than one car would be impossible. A TV in one of the bedrooms would have been welcome. Otherwise very well equipped. Will recommend to friends though may not return ourselves due to old age and finding stairs (anywhere) a challenge.

The cottage is comfortable, cosy and in a good location.

The only negative comment was due to the weather. Arrived in a downpour and the gutter above the door was overflowing so we got even wetter getting in. Once inside we found water comming in the kitchen door creating a puddle right across the kitchen floor. These are things the owner wouldn't know about unless they experienced the same torrential rain when they were at the property. The holiday was good and we didn't let these things 'dampen' our spirits!

lovely cottage every thing we needed was supplied, interior clean and comfortable, the only negative we had was having to walk through some overgrown plants along the garden path which need cutting back

Lovely, spacious cottage in a fabulous location.

Could have done with an iron and ironing board and there was no cutlery basket in the dishwasher. The garden needs cutting back, both from the path and the borders as the sun was blocked out in the evening by overgrown shrubs. Minor points though and would definitely stay again.

The cottage was in an idyllic situation, near to shops and pubs but also very quiet and rural.

It was very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Everything seemed new and well cared for. The beds were very comfortable. We were 4 adults and one two year old. We would definitely like to return.

The Cottage was lovely, very clean and tidy with excellent facilities and so close to the town of Chipping Norton with its shops and many eating places and a very central place to travel to all areas that the Cotswolds have to offer.

The garden was a bonus and although it was lovely for it to be a wild garden with lots of lovely flowers, the pathway could do with the plants being trimmed so that they didn't "attack" you when you walked to the front door. The plants surrounding the patio area could also do with a trim, as if there had been four of us it would have been a bit of a squeeze to sit and although the higher bushes gave privacy, they could have been cut down a little to allow for the evening sunshine to come onto the patio. Please be aware that the en-suite in the main bedroom doesn't have a toilet, this was completely my fault as I obviously didn't read the information properly, I was still taken aback when I walked in to just find a shower and sink. We would definitely stay at this cottage again.

Lovely Cottage, very clean, great location.

Only downsides is cannot see house number from street. Parking situation could be made clearer, could not parallel park due to bins. Bedroom 2 could do with a mirror.

Parking was an issue.

Couldn’t parallel park needs to be aware of parking at time of booking. . No hanging space in bedroom 2, no mirrors in bedroom 2. En suite in bedroom 1 no toilet.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and close to amenities, but extremely quiet.

Only advice I could give is when you arrive send someone in to unlock door, walk through the kitchen and unlock garage door, then use electric door opener so you have somewhere to park. Just drive to the end of dead end road whilst they are doing it!

Beautiful property, it had everything we needed for a great week.

First time users of Sykes Cottages and we’ll definitely be back. The cottage is right in the middle of town so perfect for restaurants and shopping. We had to call the emergency number for maintenance, and the issue was resolved the same day when the maintenance man came out.

More clarity regarding the parking facilities.

It was impossible to parallel park due to the amount of resident wheelie bins and althought the half in and half out of the garage parking was okay this wasn't made clear until reading the information folder once in the cottage.

property was easy to find, very clean, kitchen very well equiped except no pint glass for my husbands beer.

Perfect location for pubs and restaurants and to explore the area.

Nice and clean with an old cottage feel, but quite modern and cosy inside.

Great location for visiting Cotswold area, centrally located in the small town which made it ideal for trying out the the local pubs (Chequers was our favourite, only a few metres walk away).

Very good accommodation in an interesting town.

We had a lovely time, the cottage had almost everything you needed.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was an iron and ironing board, as some of the clothes that were unpacked from the suitcase needed an iron. The cottage is within easy reach of the shops, pubs and restaurants and you didn't have to travel far to visit the beautiful countryside and surrounding villages. We would definitely come back and book this cottage again :)

The cottage was so lovely and in a perfect location.

We couldn’t believe how close it was to the town centre yet so quiet inside! Very well equipped including a great TV, beds were comfy and it was a lot more spacious than we expected. Unfortunately there was some miscommunication about check in time but this was resolved and the response from Manor Cottages was prompt. Would happily stay there again and explore more of the surroundings.

A pleasent cottage and location, i enjoyed my stay and appreicated the level of cleanliness as well as some support given by the property manager locating the cutlery draw (hidden in a secret draw to the left of the kitchen sink) !

The property is well specked, clean and the linen of good quality. To note, the tv didn't seem to have much channel access, including even the basic 5; though i was able to sync my mobile phone with it's screen via wifi and access programmes streamed to it via my phone. For those who suffer from Sleep Apnoea or snoring issues, the bed pillows are excessivley stuffed with foam meaning they wont support your head, leaving one's neck at a 45 degree sleeping angle. You should bring your own or i advise the cottage provide a spare theraputic pillow or reduce the stuffing in the top layered set of pillows. We had to retort to using the spare towels as pillows ! But that said, we still had a good time at the house.

The cottage was everything we hoped it would be.

We had a very comfortable weeks stay. It was very clean and had all the items we needed.
