Well placed accommodation in Burford with a nice little walk into the beautiful town.

Also well placed for visiting other parts of the Cotswolds. The accommodation was a pleasure to be in. The view from the window was really great with the river running by and the owners pretty garden, although you cannot access it yourselves. The only slight annoyance was squeaky floors above, but not too much of an issue and would return another time. Barry the owner was very welcoming and on hand for any queries.

Beautiful little apartment, just a short walk from Burford high Street.

Apartment has everything you need and was very comfortable, very adequately heated (we stayed there in mid-winter) and plenty of hot water. Lovely view of the river from apartment and the mill race with its cascading water right next to the front door. Mill race is loud but in apartment the sound is not much more than the sound of central heating working so is fine. A couple of minor maintenance issues, I couldn’t get Juliet balcony doors to lock and one broken window casement stay. Overall, very nice apartment and location, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The small touches like milk and wine on arrival was great. The owners Barry and Mandy were lovely. Although there is no parking on site we always found a space on the road. A little noisy with apartment above as they always managed to walk over squeaky floorboard constantly. Would recommend.

Great place and a lovely location.

The only downside was the noise from the above apartment. Although it wasn't excessive you could hear people walking about and floorboards creaking.

Amazing little apartment!

We stayed in Cider Press, which is located underneath another apartment. It's the perfect size for two! However if you have loud neighbours upstairs it is hard to avoid the noise, not sure why there was so much activity from 3am-4am but hey ho! Cleaners are vigilant and will be ready at 10am and try get in beforehand! These sound negative but they are things I wish I knew before we went. Great little house and we will be back.

We had s fabulous time staying at Cider Press.

The setting in the Mill with the river literally running through the building is amazing. The apartment is great with everything we needed for our weeks stay.Barry is a great host and gave us recommendations on where to eat in Burford and places to visit. Burford and the surrounding towns and countryside are beautiful and it’s the perfect place to base yourself in the Cotswolds. We will definitely return.

Very enjoyable stay at the Cider Press, it is located just off the High Street with all the many amenities and has excellent transport links to the rest of the Cotswolds.

The property itself is very comfortable and well provisioned with a lovely outlook over the Mill Stream. A great escape for a relaxing break in the Cotswolds.

We had a delightful stay for a few days over Christmas in the lovely, cosy Cider Press.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, decorated for Christmas and with everything we needed to self-cater. We were made most welcome by the owners and will definitely return.

The apartment is compact but is laid out well and has everything you need in the kitchen, shower room and with a decent size wardrobe in the hall.

There was a storm and ice when we were staying so the lane from the flat to the road could be a bit slippery but we always got parked nearby. It was lovely looking out over the water and great to be so handy for Burford's amenities. Would recommend and hoping to go back again. Thank you.

Very well equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. Beautiful view of the river from the French doors. Great location, with only a very short walk into Burford.

We visited the area primarily to attend the RIAT 2024 event at RAF Fairford.

The accomodation suited us perfectly and the hosts were brilliant. I would like to point out just one thing that may help future visitors. Decent WIFI. Some of us, though on holiday, still have commitments whilst away that require internet access. There was decent WIFI here with about 40Mb down, 10Mb up. This would be usefull to put on the description of the property, more owners should. Also, O2 mobile signal and any carriers that use O2, for example Giffgaff, Tesco and others, is non existent within the property. This will prevent you receiving SMS verification codes etc, even though you have the WIFI. You can go out onto the small balcony though and you will be able to then get a very weak signal. Personally, I went out and bought a 3 sim card and used that whilst I was there. Would I visit again, absolutely!

Very well furnished, well equipped, and a very comfortable bed and sofa. Perfectly situated for the town of Burford and easy to get to other villages and towns in the Cotswolds. Would definitely go to the cider press again

Cider Press is a lovely apartment for a mini break or holiday.

The location is perfect with the High St and all the shops, cafes, pubs within walking distance. The studio apartment is extremely comfortable, a good size for two people and fully equipped. The shower is a great size, there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and there is a lovely shared garden space next to the river for the warmer months. A bottle of fizz for the New Year was a lovely touch and there was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee. The owner made sure that everything was ok once we had settled in which was much appreciated. We had a fantastic few days despite the dreadful weather and wouldn’t think twice about returning.

The friendly owners Barry & Mandy are on site if you need anything. Lots to see and do locally Oxford is easy to visit either by bus or very efficient park & ride.

Lovely welcome upon arrival to a clean warm comfortable apartment with flowers wine and milk making it more welcoming, comfy bed and a nice roomy shower, nicely placed for a walk into Burford, all equipment needed for cooking, lovely view over the garden and to watch the swans and ducks on the water, well placed to travel round all the Cotswold villages, nothing more required for a great break for two.

Everything you could possibly want. Comfy king size bed large walk in shower. Great kitchen (super pub at the end of the road) Cleaned to a high standard. Wine & roses on arrival. Owners lived next door very friendly & helpful. Will definitely be returning

Idyllic location for any break long or short. We will definitely be back. What a lovely town Burford is. Every building beautifully presented in Cotswold stone. Great pubs and cafes, fantastic walks in the local countryside. Loved every minute. M & H Ireland.

We had a very comfortable and happy 6 night stay at Cider Press in Buford, the accommodation suited us very well, quiet , beautiful views from every window , excellent , safe ,easy to find off street public parking , a welcome bottle of excellent wine , fresh flowers The apartment was very clean, lovely sheets and bed , very well equipped, shared laundry spotless and easy to use Proximity to High street and the village was just a few minutes walk, a very pretty village with wonderful Church , lots of places to eat out A very happy stay and can highly recommend, the owners, Mandy and Barry have gone to a lot if trouble to see nothing is missed for their guests

Beautiful little apartment in a great spot.

Very clean and well maintained. Only downside was the squeaky floorboards of the flat above which woke you up. When we booked it wasnt clear that it was all in one room, the layout makes it feel larger than it is with seperate areas so it doesnt feel small. Beautiful setting would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cider Press.

Brilliant location to explore the Cotswolds and only a stone’s throw from many places of interest. Apartment was extremely well equipped and all high quality furnishings. The bed was super comfy. The hosts were very helpful and even left us a bottle of red wine and milk along with tea, coffee etc. There was also the added bonus of a laundry room which was a godsend due to our dirty walking clothes. Plenty of great pubs all within walking distance too! Our only tiny issue was, as a few others had mentioned, the squeaky floorboards above. However, it’s a very old mill with such a beautiful setting that it didn’t detract from the wonderful place. We would most definitely book again when returning to the Cotswolds.

We enjoyed our stay at this property mostly, it is well situated for the town within easy walking distance and a good base to visit the rest of the cotswolds.

It is well furnished inside and quite modern.However the amount of black mold in the shower cubicle grouting was a low point when we first saw the bathroom especially as we were staying for a week!We also found out early on that the apartment above has a creaky floor which is directly above the bed and woke us most nights when the person above required the bathroom.The seating area at the front was not very inviting and could be made more usable it would benefit from a tidy up and would be better if the owner did not park his large estate car in the space.Overall we had a good time but feel these issues need addressing!

Beautiful apartment.

Home from home. Tranquil outlook over the river. Ducks, swans, squirrels were daily visitors. Few minutes walk up to Burford high street and all it has to offer. Would happily book again.

Just right for a short break.

Extremely clean, comfy bed and super shower. Sofa is tiny but comfortable and decor is modern with a homely feel. Enjoyed waking up each morning and hearing the ducks etc out on the river. Parking was easy even though it was roadside. 5 mins walk into town where you will find plenty of pubs and cafes. Good base for exploring the Cotswolds.

Very clean and a nice touch with fresh flowers and wine on arrival. Great location in the centre of Burford. Will visit this cottage again - loved it. Owners lovely and helpful too. Sykes had advised of a 18:00 check in, which we factored into our day, however the owner of the cottage phoned to say it would be ready by 13:00 - so others may find it beneficial to be flexible with their plans.

Really enjoyed sitting in the garden by the stream on a sunny afternoon. Ideally located for the main high street and plenty of street parking available. Every type of cooking utensil we could ever need. Lovely decor and bedding and the shower was amazing

The apartment was perfect for us and there was everything we needed. We only had to bring our food. The Royal Oak just up the street is a must place to go.

Our stay at the Cidar Press Apartment was without doubt the very best, most comfortable and peaceful you could possibly ask.

The view were superb right beside the river windrush, with swans and ducks floating passed as squirrels play in the branches of trees outside the window. The Apartment is perfect, clean fresh with immaculate furniture, kitchen and bathroom fittings. The hosts are friendly going out of their way to make the stay perfect. There are lots of eating places around a lot recommended by Barry. We recommend the Royal Oak and the Golden Pheasant. (This is a safe environment given the present covid crisis, both the apartment and the eating places, following strict government guidelines ) Thank you to everyone who helped to make our stay enjoyable.

Lots of lovely eating places close by and upmarket shops to browse in.

Lovely host, very comfy bed, charming English accommodation (don't be put off with the bedroom and lounge in one room, if you view it as an hotel suite you'll love it,) .

Clean and very quiet (you don't hear the water mill as shown in the online brochure), lots of lovely eateries nearby if you don't fancy cooking in the kitchen. Just wallow in the river view from the lounge as swans and ducks come to feed courtesy of the hosts. I suppose the best reference is that a return visit will be forthcoming!

We had a lovely time at the Cider Press.

The hosts were lovely and happy to show us around. Unfortunately, the pots in the cupboard not not been cleaned very well and had crusty food suck on them - more the fault of the people before I would think, but was still a bit unpleasant having to wash them before use. A washing up bowl would have also been useful. Everything else was lovely and the location was perfect for walking into the village. It was a shame there was only parking available on the road, but we were assured that this would be fine and it was.

Good location for discovering the beautiful Cotswolds area, Burford in particular a lovely centre.

Comfy bed and great shower with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Unfortunately we hit on a wet week so perhaps a downside of The Cider Press is that your car parking is not immediate to the flat. A nice touch were the fruit and flowers on arrival which we appreciated. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Having used Sykes Holidays several times now we feel confident that the accommodation will always meet our expectations and that is a nice and reassuring feeling.

We thought the outside sitting area was in the garden, not in the front yard.

We also thought we could sit out on the balcony. Provision of a washing up bowl, non-slip mat in shower and microwaveable bowls would have been nice. Overall a beautiful cottage in a lovely part of the country.

This is a lovely holiday apartment in a traditional Cotswold setting.

Spotlessly clean, it felt newly refurbished and high quality e.g very comfy bed, amazing shower, nice art. We didn't have neighbours above us so it was quiet. There were lots of things to do nearby with our toddler, the crocodile park is great for a rainy day, the wildlife park is amazing. Burford offers all you need for local eateries, shops and Cotswold charm. We'd highly recommend this place.

We had a lovey time in January 2019 also it snowed and it made it special the pubs and restaurants were great.

Not crucial and don't want to nitpick, but not keen on the chairs! Also think I'd fix the squeaky floorboards upstairs - should be easily done. Otherwise, rather expensive for a studio flat for 5 nights in March, but Cotswolds not a cheap area, is it?!
