“On the whole a lovely stay.”
Its a small, cosy and very clean place with no garden and the small outside space is very visible to all passers (though the cottage is just across the road from the lovely University gardens). Set in the most beautiful village and next to a picturesque duck pond it is really well located for some fab locations in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and the cotswolds.
Patsy the housekeeper was lovely, responsive and fantastic. But the house has a few niggles - the shower water pressure isn't great and the shower hose looks as if it might split soon. There were a few spiders but it's a thatched cottage, that is to be expected. The freezer is in the garage which can only be accessed by leaving the house (and was off when we arrived). The TV was a bit small but fitting for the really nice inglenook fireplace. Sound proofing was limited and you can hear easily between the lounge and the two bedrooms.
The people in the village were really helpful and friendly. Although it's quite a list the niggles are all small, we'd definitely consider coming back.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and we're glad you enjoyed your stay and also the lovely village setting. As the cottage is Grade II listed, we don't want to spoil the character in any way but the matters you mention are being looked into so thank you for bringing them to our attention. We hope they didn't impact your stay and that we can welcome you again. Property Owner
