“Such a fabulous cottage in a beautiful location.”

Maintained to a very high standard. Very comfortable with everything you need and more. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. A brilliant dog friendly pub at the end of the road that serves great food. Lovely walks from the cottage and perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Book now!

“Absolutely gorgeous property, set in a lovely quaint village.”

Couldn’t fault a thing, was spotlessly clean, modern, but still with the original features and very cosy. Was equipped with everything you need, even a treat left for the adults and doggies. Thank you! We didn’t want to come home, the village pub was a very short walk away, serving lovely food and very convenient, we ate there every day during our stay. The River Avon another short walk away too. Can’t wait to re-visit.

“Church View is a stunningly beautiful thatched cottage in a picturesque setting, close to the river.”

It is thoughtfully presented to make the most of its charm and quirkiness. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay a comfortable one. The owners have paid great attention to detail, spotless inside and out, lovely garden area and a perfect mix of old world charm and modern necessities. It’s a great base to explore the area on foot, via many footpaths and river towpath that criss-cross the village and everywhere is very dog-friendly. Would love to return soon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the cottage and location.

“Church View cottage, in the beautiful village of Welford-on-Avon, is lovely.”

Even better than it looks in the photos, it is well equipped and comfortable with lots of nice touches that made it feel quite luxurious. The owner was very welcoming, providing a box of chocolates and milk for that all important cup of tea after a long journey. If I return to the areas I would definitely hope to stay at Church View again.

“Thank you so much- one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in!”

The robes and towels for the hot tub were such a nice touch! We spent lots of time in the gorgeous garden relaxing in the sunshine, and evenings were really comfortable in the beautifully decorated lounge. The location is also fabulous- lovely walks and fantastic pubs! Will hope to come back again one day!

“Possibly one of the best cottages I have stayed in!”

Everything is to a high standard, could not fault anything. The location is beautiful, great walks and scenery. The weather was too hot at times to be out with the dogs, but this didn’t matter as it was so comfortable and relaxing to stay in the cottage and garden (eating and drinking obviously!). I would highly recommend a stay at Church View if you want a stress free break, in a fabulous property, in a picturesque part of the country.

“We had a lovely time at Church View Cottage very relaxing.”

A gorgeous place to visit lots of local walks and a lovely local pub 5 minute walk. The cottage was very cozy we wanted for nothing. We stayed Easter weekend and there was an Easter tree and chocolates waiting for us. We went to Warwick Castle well worth visiting too we all loved the hot tub and beautiful enclosed garden. We would definitely like to return and bring our dog next time ☺️ Thank you

The picturesque conservation village of Welford-on-Avon nestles on the banks of the River Avon in beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Just 5 miles from Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, Welford boasts 3 village pubs, including the award-winning Bell Inn which won the best dining pub in Warwickshire 2016.
