Church View

The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed.

The location was great, in a village, quiet, but close to a pub and a shop. Parking was provided, which was a real plus, but for us, the best bit was the cottage garden. The weather was good and we spend a lot of time just sitting outside and enjoying the peace.

An adorable cottage in a perfect location.

The fans were a blessing as the first two days were rather warm. We spent most of our holiday sat out in the garden which is a haven for bees and butterflies and secure for the dog. It is such a peaceful setting and in walking distance to three pubs all dog friendly if you book the right section. Food in all three was also good. There is also a beauty salon above the shop and I recommend booking a massage. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds are really comfortable and the hot tub was lovely and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Hot tub towels and plastic glasses were provided, and even dressing gowns although not needed on this occasion was a lovely touch.

Really lovely cosy cottage.

Spotlessly clean, and well appointed. We found it be beautifully maintained, and the views from the front windows across to the Church and the Lychgate is outstanding . We found it also to be a Great location with walks along the river nearby and the local Pubs & shop within walking distance. The bus service to Stratford & the surrounding areas well worth using. This was our second stay at Church View.

We really can’t fault it. Perfect getaway, quiet, peaceful and perfectly situated for local pubs and long walks. The cottage is fully equipped and feels truly like a home from home.

One of our best stays, the cottage, the village and the surrounding area were all beautiful.

We really enjoyed being able to walk out the door and have a lovely walk, the people in the village were very helpful and friendly. Stratford-upon-Avon was beautiful an ideal day out.

A beautiful little gem of a cottage!

Period features, well maintained, everything provided you could possibly want. Lovely secluded garden, which was secure for our dog and the bonus of a hot tub and private off road parking. The village is also lovely, very quaint with a couple of pubs, a shop and river walks. Great base for exploring into the Cotswolds, Stratford etc. Would definitely recommend this cottage, it was perfect!

We arrived early and the owners were on site but welcomed us warmly and let us in.

The house was gorgeous (probably the nicest we have stayed in). The information pack was comprehensive and really useful. The two pubs in the village are great. We found a walk through the fields to get to the Four Alls which was pleasant rather than walking along the road. Perfect week away, highly recommend.

Loved the cottage.

Everything had been thought of, extra towels, games, toiletries and fab seating areas. Dogs loved it too. Would definitely like to revisit.

Beautiful thatched cottage, well appointed.

Minor quibbles - not enough places to hang towels in bathroom and very tiny bedside shelves in second bedroom. Overall very happy. Beautiful enclosed garden ( very good for dogs). All rooms a decent size, furniture well thought out. Kitchen well stocked with china, cutlery and cooking implements. I happen to hate induction hobs, but it was fine. We couldn't turn the dishwasher on, but the problem was quickly and pleasantly resolved.

A lovely cottage, comfortable, warm, well-appointed and nice and clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this picture postcard cottage. The well-fenced pretty garden was good to relax in and to know our dog was safe. Altogether a very happy stay.

Fantastic place to stay, clean, tidy, beautiful inside and out.

Owners very much on hand for information and queries. Chocolates, milk and dog treats as a welcome which was lovely, along with tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The washer was s good send, especially to freshen up clothes after a muddy walk! The instruction manual was well thought out, didn't want for anything. Weather was a little dull and wet, so boots definitely required for local walks, but still beautiful and well worth doing. Beautiful cottage, village and hot tub was also a great addition. Great pubs nearby also which are all dog friendly. We will return in sure.

Lovely cottage, so historic but beautifully renovated to include all the mod cons you could want - including a hot tub.

Must mention the great water pressure for a lovely shower too!

We had a wonderful holiday at Church View the cottage was amazing, very clean and comfortable with lots of little extras, the garden was beautiful and secure for the dogs, the village is so pretty and peaceful with a pub serving great food and some lovely walks nearby, the hot tub was a bonus and looked so pretty lit up at night, we will definitely be back hopefully next summer, thankyou

Churchview is a beautiful cottage in a great location.

The cottage is very well equipped and a really comfortable base for a holiday. The owner is on hand if you have any queries and the village has good amenities and a choice of eating/drinking options.

It was such a lovely couple of days there .

I couldn’t fault this little cottage, the owners had thought of absolutely everything.

It was spotlessly clean and perfectly situated for long walks and relaxing pub lunches. The hot tub was the icing on the cake to enhance the relaxation this little gem had to offer.

We had a great stay at this beautiful cottage.

It's been renovated to a very high standard and the mix of new and old fittings works brilliantly. It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and has comfy beds. The hot tub was very welcoming after a day's touring, and the back garden was large and secure enough for our dog to run around. The owners were very friendly and helped us massively when we had car issues. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a base to explore Stratford & the Cotswolds.

Beautiful cottage, just the right size for three of us and the dog.

We opened the gate into the lovely garden (with hot tub) then explored the cottage itself and were welcomed by a hand written note & a box of chocolates. From the creaky wooden floors upstairs to the wonderful wooden ceiling beams and the lovely fire in the living room. Everything was well laid out, a well written book of instructions / advice was on the kitchen table. Communication with the hosts was excellent. To sum up, the whole place was perfect and we would love to come back again. Julie, Rich, Kaitlyn and Obi the dog.

The cottage is located in a beautiful location, just a short walk down to the river, local pubs good for evening meals. The owners of this accommodation have thought of everything and more, you literally don’t need to worry about a thing. A very cosy cottage in a pretty garden. Stunning cottage, so pretty.

Everything we needed, clean and tidy. Tea and coffee and milk! was provided and the chocolates and welcome note is such a lovely touch. The weather was very kind to us so we all loved the hot tub and relaxing in the private enclosed lovely garden. The local pub is just around the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would have no hesitation in reccomending the cottage to friends and family, in fact we already have!

A fabulous period cottage that was immaculately clean, provided all amenities that we could ask for as well as some unexpected treats left by the owners, the location was perfect for us in quiet and rural village but close to decent supermarkets and places of interest.

During a power cut the owners ensured we had access to extra necessities ensuring that our holiday was not negatively affected.

Absolutely gorgeous property, set in a lovely quaint village.

Couldn’t fault a thing, was spotlessly clean, modern, but still with the original features and very cosy. Was equipped with everything you need, even a treat left for the adults and doggies. Thank you! We didn’t want to come home, the village pub was a very short walk away, serving lovely food and very convenient, we ate there every day during our stay. The River Avon another short walk away too. Can’t wait to re-visit.

Church View is a stunningly beautiful thatched cottage in a picturesque setting, close to the river.

It is thoughtfully presented to make the most of its charm and quirkiness. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay a comfortable one. The owners have paid great attention to detail, spotless inside and out, lovely garden area and a perfect mix of old world charm and modern necessities. It’s a great base to explore the area on foot, via many footpaths and river towpath that criss-cross the village and everywhere is very dog-friendly. Would love to return soon and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the cottage and location.

Church View cottage, in the beautiful village of Welford-on-Avon, is lovely.

Even better than it looks in the photos, it is well equipped and comfortable with lots of nice touches that made it feel quite luxurious. The owner was very welcoming, providing a box of chocolates and milk for that all important cup of tea after a long journey. If I return to the areas I would definitely hope to stay at Church View again.

The robes and towels for the hot tub were such a nice touch! We spent lots of time in the gorgeous garden relaxing in the sunshine, and evenings were really comfortable in the beautifully decorated lounge. The location is also fabulous- lovely walks and fantastic pubs! Will hope to come back again one day!

Possibly one of the best cottages I have stayed in!

Everything is to a high standard, could not fault anything. The location is beautiful, great walks and scenery. The weather was too hot at times to be out with the dogs, but this didn’t matter as it was so comfortable and relaxing to stay in the cottage and garden (eating and drinking obviously!). I would highly recommend a stay at Church View if you want a stress free break, in a fabulous property, in a picturesque part of the country.

A gorgeous place to visit lots of local walks and a lovely local pub 5 minute walk. The cottage was very cozy we wanted for nothing. We stayed Easter weekend and there was an Easter tree and chocolates waiting for us. We went to Warwick Castle well worth visiting too we all loved the hot tub and beautiful enclosed garden. We would definitely like to return and bring our dog next time ☺️ Thank you
