    “We spent a lovely relaxing few days at 5 Albany Road so that we could attend a family party.”

    The downstairs space in particular was spacious and comfortable for five adults. Interestingly, the younger adults were not happy with the over-bath electric shower and found the separate upstairs toilet quite astonishing, whereas we oldies were more accepting that no 5 is an period terrace and it is hard and expensive to modernise some things. The shower did stop working at one point but we easily found the fuse box and sorted it. The person in the back bedroom said it was cold (it was ...

The shower did stop working at one point but we easily found the fuse box and sorted it. The person in the back bedroom said it was cold (it was December). That room is at the rear with three outside walls so not surprising, but maybe a space heater would be a good idea for winter lets. The rest of the house was toasty. We were aware of the town centre parking restrictions from the owners' instructions so we parked near to our relatives' house on the outskirts of town where there are no restrictions and walked the ten minutes back to Albany Road.
