“This was the second holiday we'd had in Pebworth Cottage, so you can tell we were happy with it the first time.”
So we were surprised and alarmed to find some broken glass on the lounge floor under a sofa we had to move to rescue our 17 month old grandson, who had squeezed behind it. Cot,high chair and stairgates were supplied as requested. Otherwise, the place was spotless, as usual, as was the famous welcome pack, a complete breakfast in itself, and more We visited the farm shop where the contents originated, and stocked up with their produce for the rest of our stay. Despite the log burner in the next door lounge, my son and family found the downstairs bedroom very cold at night. We realised there are no shaver points in either bathroom, although we didn't need them ourselves. We found the villagers unfailingly friendly, and the Mason's Arms pub in the village has reopened, but sadly we didn't have time to visit it. Another time, perhaps.....
