We really enjoyed our stay at The Croft.

It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds area.This property was one of the best we have ever stayed in.It was immaculately clean, very well equipped and lots of thoughtful little details provided by the owners.We would also like to thank the owners for all the lovely treats they left for us, very generous.It was very peaceful and private and as advertised, the village pub The Peacock was a five minute walk away and did excellent food. Thanks for a great holiday

It was well equipped, clean, & comfortable. Pam & Peter, the owners, were very friendly & helpful, & the welcome pack was very enjoyable. We would happily book again if planning to stay the area.

The property is very clean, very comfortable bed and great shower, everything you need in the kitchen is there.

Outside space is lovely. You also receive a welcome pack . Would definitely recommend this to family and friends. Also Pete and Pam were very friendly and answered our questions. Also it’s a good location.

The Croft is a modern and what you see in the photos is what you get. All first rate. Everything you could possibly need for your holiday is well catered for. The location is excellent for visiting the Cotswolds and the village setting is extremely quiet - perfect for a relaxing break. Pam and Peter are attentive hosts and are most welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had a fantastic break and would definitely recommend the Croft as a holiday destination.

Been to many holiday places and this is one of the best.

Wow, what a fantastic cottage.

Perfect in every detail. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack. A great base for travelling around the area, Bourton on the Water, Stratford on Avon, Moreton in Marsh. We would give Diddly Squat farm shop a miss as it was just too busy and the queue was really long. There's a couple of large garden centres nearby which are well worth a visit. Pam and Peter, it was lovely to meet you, your cottage is a credit to you

One word SUPERB, great stay, accommodation excellent hosts lovely people without being intrusive.

The Croft is a wonderful, modern and very well and tastefully equipped property.

Everything is perfect for a lovely, relaxing holiday, including the lovely outdoor seating area. Sadly, for us, we were there during the intense heatwave and had to leave a few days early as a result of heat exhaustion. We would happily return during cooler weather.

Lovely accommodation decorated to a high standard, everything you need for self catering.

Located in a picturesque village near Shipston-on-Stour, lots of beautiful villages and places of interest to visit nearby. Owners Peter and Pam have created a lovely cottage with outdoor seating, friendly hosts sharing information on places nearby to visit. I would not hesitate to return to this beautiful property.

Despite the changeable weather we had a lovely time.

The accommodation was gorgeous, very clean and the bed super big and comfy. The outside space is very well thought out, the little trees lining the path are beautiful. A great find, we would definitely look to return in the future

The cottage was perfect , very private . Pam and Peter the hosts could not have been more helpful . They had really thought through the comfort and needs of the cottage and the bed was super comfortable. Beautiful part of the country and access to all the tourist spots . Lovely accommodation in peaceful surroundings.

Friendly owners on hand if needed. Well equipped with all you need for self catering. We ate at the Yew Tree several times excellent food about a 15/20 minute drive. Well situated for visiting National Trust places, gardens and all the pretty villages.

We throughly enjoyed our stay.

The owners were very friendly and left us a lovely welcome pack, thankyou. Very clean the only thing we found were hair in the shower. It is extremely well equipped and the airfryer was very welcomed. We would highly recommend The Croft thankyou for a lovely stay.

Perfection!

We could not have picked a better place to stay. The accomodation is of the highest standard, 5 stars plus, and there is everything there that you could need. There was a welcome basket which was a lovely touch. The outside seating and dining area is lovely and very nice and peaceful. The owners are lovely people and are there to help, if needed, but not intrusive. The property is within easy distance of many attractions and there is a Pub, The Peacock, within a short distance which does lovely food. The Croft is set in a beautiful area. We loved every moment of our stay and have already booked again for September. Thank you Pam, Peter and family.

We enjoyed our stay at The Croft.

Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The owner has thought of everything to make a stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The outside area was a bonus too. Lovely little touches were appreciated. The property is in an excellent location to discover the Cotswolds, Oxford and the surrounding area. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and hopefully we will return.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at “The Croft” in Oxhill.

We were greeted by owners Peter and Pam, and made to feel very welcome - thank you. The quality of accommodation was truly exceptional. We appreciated the layout of the cottage, its finish, quality furnishings, cleanliness, and thoughtful provisions. We felt so comfortable, and we think The Croft was perfect! The village of Oxhill is pretty, very quiet, and has a good pub, “The Peacock” which is just a short walk away, and where we enjoyed a lovely meal. A bus service to Stratford and Banbury runs through the village, stopping near the Peacock. We took the bus to Stratford for the day. We also visited many other beautiful Cotswold villages and points of interest that were only short drives away in the car. Overall, a wonderfully memorable stay in a first class accommodation. Thank you again to Peter and Pam.

Lovely accommodation.

Bed extremely comfortable, unfortunately the we found the sofa too low and uncomfortable for us. Apart from that everything was perfect. Loved the outside sitting area after a day out sightseeing

The Croft was a fabulous place to stay and was finished to a very high standard every room being beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout,the patio area was gorgeous.

It was immaculately clean and lacked for nothing in the way of appliances and fittings making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the little finishing touches were so thoughtful. The location was quiet and perfect for all our favorite places to visit in the Cotswolds, First class we will return again.

An outstanding holiday property, very stylish, comfortable, immaculate and very well equipped.

Peter the host was very welcoming. Thank you for the welcome basket and the luxurious toiletries and thank you for the fabulous M/B tour. The property is ideal for exploring in and around the Cotswolds. A beautiful area, we visited nearby National Trust Houses, Burton Dassett Country Park and The British Motor Museum. Oxhill Village Church is well worth a visit too. Would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day in warmer weather when we could enjoy the smart decked area outside.

This is a superb rental property, I'd highly recommend it to others.

We enjoyed a really peaceful and relaxing New Year break, in a place which is well located for exploring the Cotswolds. The apartment has everything that we needed, Pete and Pam gave us a friendly welcome, and we'd certainly consider a return visit.

Lovely fully equipped self catering cottage.

Location is quiet but giving easy access to places to visit. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

We were extremely pleased to find from the moment we entered the property to find it immaculately clean, excellently equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The property is really comfortable with a spacious bedroom and super comfy bed. The property layout has been very well planned and equipped to a very high standard. It also has a beautiful private patio area. The location is very peaceful and very close to the village. Our hosts Peter and Pam made us very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay

.. its spacious and the fixtures and fittings are high quality. Winter outside, but the accommodation was always cosy and warm... it's in a peaceful and quiet location with safe parking.. geographically close to many places of interest... We enjoyed our stay would recommend the Croft to anyone..

A very nice and modern place to relax.

A nice welcome from the owners of the property and a welcoming pack to sit down and enjoy on arrival after a long journey. The property is situated next to a quaint little village with a post office and the peacock pub which serves excellent grub and is situated roughly half an hour from most places to visit, all in all worth the Five star rating.

The property was lovely, clean, well equipped, modern up to date facilities and warm.

It had a nice private open outdoor space to relax with a drink after a day exploring. The property offered a good parking space. The owners were not intrusive but made you feel welcome when they saw you.

The Croft is easily the best place we have stayed at.

It has everything you need and more! The cleanliness was like we were the first people to ever stay there and the little finishing touches made it extra special - the light that came on under the kitchen cupboards and the light in the bathroom, my wife wants that in our home. Thank you Peter & Pam, we are already planning our return stay.

What a lovely holiday base Peter and Pam have provided!

Well located in a small village close to a charming old town, which offers many facilities, the cottage is situated on the owners own property, offering off-road parking. As for the cottage itself, we cannot praise it highly enough. Recently fitted out, it is tastefully furnished and equipped to a standard I would hope for from a very good hotel. The attention to detail is superb and the cottage offers every convenience you could hope for, including an air fryer and dishwasher in the kitchen and lovely toiletries in the bathroom and bedroom, together with ample storage for your belongings. The open plan living area leads out through patio doors to a comfortably furnished sundeck and the whole property is privately enclosed from the main house. The owners are friendly and helpful, but discreet and we cannot thank them enough for all the thought put into providing this excellent holiday base. We would not think of looking for any other location when visiting the area in the future.

Property was excellent.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well appointed. While we didn’t cater for ourselves other than breakfast, all the facilities are there should you want to. We met Peter, the owner, several times over our week long stay and he was very friendly and helpful, recommending a few local walks, places to eat, and which towns/villages were worth visiting etc. My wife felt that the cottage and the surrounding area was so peaceful and idyllic and was like a little piece of paradise. Would book this property again if ever back in the same area.

Our few days spent at The Croft were very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at The Croft.

It’s situated on the edge of the village and is very peaceful and relaxing. We were able to easily get to many places of interest including lots of National Trust properties and gardens. The surrounding countryside is beautiful to explore. The Croft itself was immaculate; it has been stylishly designed with lots of thoughtful touches to ensure you have everything you need. We would love to come back and visit again!

The property was an absolute delight.

The deck was wonderful to chill out on the outdoor seating and dine alfresco. The facilities were excellent, clean and instructions to the equipment made it easy to use. The hosts were lovely and friendly, there if you needed assistance but otherwise we were independent to enjoy the lovely solitude of The Croft. The area was beautiful, highly recommend Batsford Arboretum and the cafe Martha's in Moreton in Marsh. Highly recommend.

Beautifully appointed property with everything we needed and mor. Maybe a grab rail in the shower would be beneficial for the less mobile.

The accommodation was excellent, quality fixtures and fittings, the private outside area was great.

A well equipped kitchen. Great shower room. The super king size bed was very comfortable. The village of Oxhill is lovely and we enjoyed a great meal in the local pub. The owners were very hospitable and on hand if needed. I would highly recommend The Croft as a place to stay and the proximity to lovely Cotswold villages and towns.

This is an exceptional property that we would fully recommend to anyone looking for a quiet location and somewhere well located to explore the Cotswold's and surrounding area.

Excellent newly renovated, clean and well equipped cottage in a friendly village setting.

The owners were on hand and helpful. The village has a lovely pub (the Peacock) and there's lots to do locally. I would recommend this cottage - we'll definitely be back.

The owners Peter and Pam were excellent hosts.

We did incur a problem on the first day which we had to report fairly early on a Saturday morning to Pam. She was incredibly apologetic but they made sure the problem was rectified almost immediately for which we were extremely grateful..On arrival at the property we had been left a "welcome pack" and this was very much appreciated. The Croft is a fairly new building that has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard and attention to detail is excellent. The property is in a terrific location for exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer and is only a short drive from the bigger towns of Stratford upon Avon and Shipston on Stour. We will definitely like to return when the weather is a bit warmer so we can take advantage of the outide Patio/Decking area.

A superb cottage in a lovely, private location.

Peter and Pamela are on hand if you need anything but are totally unobtrusive. The cottage has everything you need and is fitted to the highest standard . The garden is beautiful and tranquil and no cost has been spared to make this the perfect place to explore the Cotswolds. Faultless!

The "Croft" is most comfortable.

We found the accommodations most comfortable and relaxing as we wound down our last few days in the UK after a 3 week+ holiday in England and Scotland. Location is very good; super quiet, safe feeling and close enough for easy day trips out into the wonderful Cotswolds. The kitchen is fully equipped with the most modern appliances and dining ware. We were able to enjoy a few lovely home cooked meals in addition to some tasty and atmospheric local pub lunches and visit to National Trust homes and cafes! Facilities such as heating and shower/water pressure and warmth are top notch. Pam the owner and host was most gracious and lovely to talk with and checked on us via text upon our after dark arrival. I would only add to be prepared for a loose gravel parking area; adequate in size but somewhat of a challenge to carry heavy luggage across. We both certainly recommend the "Croft" if needing lodging in the area and hope to return in the not too distant future. Thank you Pam for hosting.
