Lavender Cottage

A lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable and just as described.

The hosts were very welcoming with great communication throughout. A very generous welcome pack was left for us to enjoy.....which we all did, thank you very much. The hot tub was a great treat each evening and even the rain didn't stop us from enjoying it. We will definitely be recommending this property to others.

The cottage is set in a beautiful and interesting area where there is a wide range of activities. For us the "great houses" were a particular attraction. We enjoyed our holiday very much.

Everything was exceptional from the welcoming croissants & jam, the fridge full of essentials to the comfy beds.

Nothing had been over looked to ensure our stay was like a home from home. The hot tub was a welcome relief too after a busy days out which made our stay simply so delightful . A must is meeting the alpacas, which you can see from the cottage.

Everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub was a treat in the evenings. Location was so quiet and peaceful. Owners left a very generous welcome pack of milk, butter, juice pastries and jams. Also plenty of tea and coffee. Perfect accommodation!

Lovely property - well presented and clean.

Location and facilities great. Highly recommend a visit to the village pub. I think a little more thought could go into the crockery/glassware e.g. large bowls for pasta and flutes for fizz (inc. plastic for the hot-tub) would really elevate it. Great place, I would book again.

We had a great stay at Lavender Cottage.

The layout, condition and facilities were all perfect. Communication with the owners was always quick and easy. The Hot-Tub was great and easily accommodated 4 adults. The local Peacock Inn Oxhill did great food and was very welcoming. We are already planning on returning to this cottage in 2026 but for a longer holiday than just 3 nights.

Exactly as advertised, complimentary foods were a great start and hot tub amazing, warm welcoming property perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, would recommend in a heartbeat.

The Lavender Cottage was perfect for our family.

..2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms with a lovely fireplace in the living room/kitchen. We loved the hot tub and private patio area. Our host was great, even taking time to let us feed the alpacas! Highly recommend this property!

The property was spotless clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, peaceful and quiet and the hot tub was lovely to enjoy of an evening.

This is the perfect location for a little break away with friends.

We had such a lovely stay and time exploring Stratford-Upon-Avon & Warwick Castle. We also really loved meeting and feeing the alpacas and having some downtime in the hot tub! Our only criticism was that we found the pillows a little too firm, but that’s a personal opinion. Thank you to Lis for creating such a wonderful place to stay, we would absolutely love to stay here again!

Very happy with this lovely cottage, very comfortable and well equipped.
