“This cottage is simply perfect and truly has everything for a carefree stay.”

The rooms are spacious and equipped with every modern comfort (air fryer, underfloor heating, robotic lawnmower, luxury showers, bathrobes, soap and shampoo - even for the dog...). Despite the extensive amenities, there is still plenty of space to neatly store your own belongings. The separate laundry area is also very convenient. The garden is beautifully maintained and inviting. For dog owners, it is reassuring to know that the garden is perfectly enclosed, ensuring that even curious dogs cannot wander off. Everything -both inside and out- is spotlessly clean. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, and a welcome pack containing bread, pasteries, milk, eggs, and much more was waiting for us. It is clear that this cottage is cherished, and rightly so. Finally, it is well-located: in a quiet cul-de-sac in a typical Cotswolds village. Highly recommended; if we ever visit this region again, there is no doubt we would choose Howard Cottage again in a heartbeat.

“A lovely bungalow which has been thoughtfully extended to provide additional bedroom space, wet room, utility room and dining room / conservatory.”

Overall the house is very clean and very well equipped. The private back garden is well laid out with nice flower beds and places to sit and enjoy the peace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The house is situated in a good area with easy access to Stratford upon Avon, The Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Worcester to name a few places worth visiting as well as various local attractions. The house is also dog friendly with a variety of walks from the door. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

“Fabulous cottage couldn't have asked for more.”

There is everything you need to cook and if you don’t there’s food served at the local pub. Its location is excellent and everywhere we visited was a short drive. There’s some lovely local walks and the village is quiet and welcoming. We would definitely return to this property.

“The accommodation ticked all the boxes as far as we were concerned.”

Of all the properties we have stayed at (many through Sykes) this would rate in our top 2. The property was well located for visiting the Cotswolds area. we have been to the Cotswolds many times and due to health problems this will probably be our last visit. However, if we do ever come back this is where we'll hope to stay.

“Lovely bungalow in a quiet setting.”

Everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Garden is beautiful and large, has plenty of seating and is dog secure.All rooms are spotless and very warm. The conservatory is lovely and we used this room a lot. There are lots of extras throughout, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are a handy extra. Bedrooms are large with loads of space for clothes and bags. Kitchen is very well equipped. We will definitely return and would recommend this property to anyone, it will not disappoint. Broadway is 15 mins away.

It is beautiful throughout. Spotless there were everything you could possibly need. Keri, the special lady did a warm friendly meet and greet at the Cottage. She made us so welcome, the garden was big and beautiful. Everywhere was very tidy well maintained. I would definately highly recommend this beautiful cottage. So cosy warm and very comfortable.the ensuite wetroom was absolutely massive, wonderful shower. The beds are super comfy. Bedrooms were big. I cant speak highly enough about Keri and the cottage!!!! So warm friendly and very welcoming!!!! Nothing was too much for keri she is such a lovely lady. She is very caring and she really wants you to have a good time.

“Four of us plus Luna the dog spent a great week at Howard Cottage.”

We felt it was probably the best place we had stayed, clean comfortable and facilities supplied were superb and the welcome pack was so generous. “Really lovely bungalow.”

Very clean, modern and comfortable with lots of extras. Very secure garden that even our small dog couldn’t get out of. We couldn’t find a single fault with it. One of the best we’ve stayed in. Lots to do in the area. Quiet situation but very easy to get to places.We had a lovely week and will definitely book again if we come to the area. “All agreed that this was a superb property and it was clear that the owner was wholly invested in efforts to provide the perfect stay.”

Extremely well equipped, in fact, one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in to date. Very clean and comfortable. Great showers. Private location tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample parking and a lovely garden environment. Well placed for the Cotswolds and Stratford etc. We met Keri the owner on arrival, a very friendly and approachable lady, who was keen to assist in any way possible to ensure the perfect stay. The Ivy pub was in easy walking distance, where the food, drinks and service were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to any future customers.

Extremely comfortable, everything you could possibly need. Plenty of equipment, spare bedding, towels. Pristine everywhere. The Welcome Pack, again the best we have ever had, including box of extra tea bags, sugar, coffee in cupboard. Everything needed for at least couple of days breakfast. Garden a delight, lovely to sit in, plus table and chairs under a gazebo as well as set on patio. Keri very helpful, lovely lady. Had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Keri.

“Superbly furnished & appointed accommodation with the best welcome, and welcome pack, we've ever experienced (and we take several cottages every year).”

The owners were very helpful, easy access and plenty of private parking. Though the accommodation is adjacent to the bottom end of the excellent local pub/restaurant it's well fenced off out of site and there was absolutely no noise or disturbance. The garden was well kept with loads of seating & tables. Appears to be not far from a local glider club so we were entertained by the gliders riding the thermals. Don't miss the NT Fleece @ Bretford (where they host the start of the asparagus season and auction) if you like very very old pubs full of curiosities, Gins, real ales, artisan ciders and excellent dining. Chipping Campden worth a visit.

Pre arrival information very informative and thorough plus we were met and given a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for Keri as she provided an efficient tour round. “We have had a fabulous, relaxing, peaceful stay.”

I sat on the bench out front on Sunday, with my book, and caught the sun however there is more seating in the back garden too. This is the 1st holiday rental that we have been to that has been so well equipped and of such a high standard. It was an added bonus having a smart TV with Netflix etc. we settled down one night, with a beer, and watched a film of choice. The bed is super comfy and there is plenty of hanging/drawer space. There is plenty of parking space too. The pub does a good pint and the food is great and all at a reasonable price. The welcome pack is excellent and much appreciated, we could have a cuppa and a pastry when we settled in.

“We had a lovely stay, accommodating the dogs too.”

The welcome pack was a nice surprise- it would be good to advertise this as we arranged a click and collect order so didn’t use all that was available, the local pub does lovely food, I’m gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating by checking items and had a good menu. Hopefully will return

The ancient village of South Littleton lies in the Vale of Evesham, between Evesham and Bideford-upon-Avon and surrounded by unspoilt Worcestershire countryside. Dating back to Roman times, the village has a well-stocked farm shop, Post Office and fish and chip shop as well as a recreation ground and bowling and tennis club. Many walks can be enjoyed from the village, with the long-distant footpaths of Shakespeare's Avon Way and Millennium Way running close by. The nearby village of Bretforton boasts its own community-run village shop and a 600-year old inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk and food and drink festivals throughout the year. The quintessential English village of Broadway, five miles away, has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times. The surrounding countryside is famous for its fruit-growing and market gardening, and South Littleton is a great base for exploring the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, along with Cheltenham Spa, with its Gold Cup Festival and Worcester, with its magnificent cathedral. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, is just a short drive away and offers many historic buildings, a theatre and the pretty River Avon.
