“Perfect location to reach all the beautiful villages and towns of the Cotswolds.”

Fantastic bungalow with a lovely garden and the owner has thought of everything. It was spotlessly clean, and had everything you could possibly need. The welcome basket was amazing with some luxuries as well as the basics . The Ivy, just around the corner is a lovely welcoming pub with great food choices, including curry nights. Really hope to visit this quiet , charming cottage again

“Really lovely bungalow.”

Very clean, modern and comfortable with lots of extras. Very secure garden that even our small dog couldn’t get out of. We couldn’t find a single fault with it. One of the best we’ve stayed in. Lots to do in the area. Quiet situation but very easy to get to places.We had a lovely week and will definitely book again if we come to the area. Keri is the perfect owner, very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive.

“All agreed that this was a superb property and it was clear that the owner was wholly invested in efforts to provide the perfect stay.”

Extremely well equipped, in fact, one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in to date. Very clean and comfortable. Great showers. Private location tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample parking and a lovely garden environment. Well placed for the Cotswolds and Stratford etc. We met Keri the owner on arrival, a very friendly and approachable lady, who was keen to assist in any way possible to ensure the perfect stay. The Ivy pub was in easy walking distance, where the food, drinks and service were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to any future customers.

“Howard Cottage is definitely the very best self catering property that we have stayed in and had everything we could possibly need - plus more !”

The welcome basket was extremely generous and it was very helpful knowing in advance that toiletries were provided. There was no disturbance from the pub next door and the food we had in there was brilliant and very reasonably priced. “Howard Cottage is the best one we have ever stayed in, 5* plus plus.”

Extremely comfortable, everything you could possibly need. Plenty of equipment, spare bedding, towels. Pristine everywhere. The Welcome Pack, again the best we have ever had, including box of extra tea bags, sugar, coffee in cupboard. Everything needed for at least couple of days breakfast. Garden a delight, lovely to sit in, plus table and chairs under a gazebo as well as set on patio. Keri very helpful, lovely lady. Had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Keri.

“Superbly furnished & appointed accommodation with the best welcome, and welcome pack, we've ever experienced (and we take several cottages every year).”

The owners were very helpful, easy access and plenty of private parking. Though the accommodation is adjacent to the bottom end of the excellent local pub/restaurant it's well fenced off out of site and there was absolutely no noise or disturbance. The garden was well kept with loads of seating & tables. Appears to be not far from a local glider club so we were entertained by the gliders riding the thermals. Don't miss the NT Fleece @ Bretford (where they host the start of the asparagus season and auction) if you like very very old pubs full of curiosities, Gins, real ales, artisan ciders and excellent dining. Chipping Campden worth a visit.

She explained how everything worked and where everything was. The cottage was immaculate and with all the amenities of home. Ideally situated for trips out into the Worcestershire countryside and further afield. A very thoughtful welcome pack including treats for the dog and pastries for the human guests. “Outstanding attention to detail and care .”

Pre arrival information very informative and thorough plus we were met and given a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for Keri as she provided an efficient tour round. Keri even catered for our gluten free requirements in the welcome pack. Absolutely loved our stay !!! The garden was totally dog friendly and we saw some sunshine so were able to enjoy the lovely garden

Great location for the Cotswolds , didn’t manage to get to the local pub as we were so busy. Certainly would return and definitely recommend to anyone who wants that little bit extra.

“We have had a fabulous, relaxing, peaceful stay.”

I sat on the bench out front on Sunday, with my book, and caught the sun however there is more seating in the back garden too. This is the 1st holiday rental that we have been to that has been so well equipped and of such a high standard. It was an added bonus having a smart TV with Netflix etc. we settled down one night, with a beer, and watched a film of choice. The bed is super comfy and there is plenty of hanging/drawer space. There is plenty of parking space too. The pub does a good pint and the food is great and all at a reasonable price. The welcome pack is excellent and much appreciated, we could have a cuppa and a pastry when we settled in.

“Howard Cottage is a superb property.”

The cottage is in a good location for visiting The Cotswolds, Evesham etc. Keri, the host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was a nice surprise- it would be good to advertise this as we arranged a click and collect order so didn’t use all that was available, the local pub does lovely food, I’m gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating by checking items and had a good menu. The ancient village of South Littleton lies in the Vale of Evesham, between Evesham and Bideford-upon-Avon and surrounded by unspoilt Worcestershire countryside. Dating back to Roman times, the village has a well-stocked farm shop, Post Office and fish and chip shop as well as a recreation ground and bowling and tennis club. Many walks can be enjoyed from the village, with the long-distant footpaths of Shakespeare's Avon Way and Millennium Way running close by. The nearby village of Bretforton boasts its own community-run village shop and a 600-year old inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk and food and drink festivals throughout the year. The quintessential English village of Broadway, five miles away, has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times. The surrounding countryside is famous for its fruit-growing and market gardening, and South Littleton is a great base for exploring the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, along with Cheltenham Spa, with its Gold Cup Festival and Worcester, with its magnificent cathedral. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, is just a short drive away and offers many historic buildings, a theatre and the pretty River Avon. The area has an abundance of National Trust properties, museums, lovely walks, golf courses, fishing and cycle trails, making it a great base for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
