Howard Cottage

We regularly book our family get-together with Sykes, because we know and trust them and they always look after us.

We have stayed in many holiday accommodations in England and Wales. This property is the best so far! The Owner, Keri, is very kind and helpful, and met us on arrival, despite nursing a recent hand operation. Nothing was any trouble to her. This helps make any family holiday less stressful and more enjoyable. We hope to return one day rat wishes and kind regards, Elaine, Keith and Stuart.

We absolutely love coming to Howard Cottage, it is spotless, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.

The owner is so helpful,friendly and has thought of everything. We love the garden, the generous welcome basket and of course have booked again for next year!

Comfortable, well equipped and spacious bungalow in a very peaceful area of Evesham.

Ideal for couples or families wanting to explore surrounding areas of Cotswolds, Worcestershire and Staffordshire. Enclosed garden can be seen from conservatory watching the birds and squirrels made it extra special.

This is our second time of staying here and we were really over the moon that our memories were accurate.

Keri is extrememly accomodating, friendly and welcoming. The cottage is just blissful and a great base for exploring and or chilling. We are already looking to book for next year. Really recommend. Thank you Keri and team.

I would recommend this cottage to anyone, it is lovely from being in the centre of many places to visit to being able to relax in the garden and watch many species of birds visit the feeders during the evening.

The Ivy Inn next door on the village green was welcoming and served a wide selection of food and beers. We cannot praise this cottage enough and look forward to returning asap. Derek from Wiltshire.

Well what can I say what a beautiful cottage (Bungalow) well maintained, beautiful garden, having breakfast in the conservatory watching the birds & squirrels squabble over the nuts was a joy, the Bungalow is very roomy & great showers comfy beds, lovely owner provided an exceptional welcome pack, we will be back !

This is one of the best rentals we have stayed in.

It is exceptionally well equipped, clean and well maintained. Highly recommended. The only suggestion for improvement would be a ceiling fan in the sun lounge (weather very hot while we were there).

This cottage is simply perfect and truly has everything for a carefree stay.

The rooms are spacious and equipped with every modern comfort (air fryer, underfloor heating, robotic lawnmower, luxury showers, bathrobes, soap and shampoo - even for the dog...). Despite the extensive amenities, there is still plenty of space to neatly store your own belongings. The separate laundry area is also very convenient. The garden is beautifully maintained and inviting. For dog owners, it is reassuring to know that the garden is perfectly enclosed, ensuring that even curious dogs cannot wander off. Everything -both inside and out- is spotlessly clean. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, and a welcome pack containing bread, pasteries, milk, eggs, and much more was waiting for us. It is clear that this cottage is cherished, and rightly so. Finally, it is well-located: in a quiet cul-de-sac in a typical Cotswolds village. Highly recommended; if we ever visit this region again, there is no doubt we would choose Howard Cottage again in a heartbeat.

We had a relaxing week in this lovely property, perfect for unwinding.

It’s tucked away in a peaceful location with many beautiful places to visit and explore nearby. Very clean and well stocked, with a super welcome basket too. We will definitely be back soon. A lovely bungalow which has been thoughtfully extended to provide additional bedroom space, wet room, utility room and dining room / conservatory.

Overall the house is very clean and very well equipped. The private back garden is well laid out with nice flower beds and places to sit and enjoy the peace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The house is situated in a good area with easy access to Stratford upon Avon, The Cotswolds, Cheltenham and Worcester to name a few places worth visiting as well as various local attractions. The house is also dog friendly with a variety of walks from the door. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Keri was lovely and the welcome pack was excellent. Home from home so relaxing. The conservatory was a lovely space to relax and unwind. The Ivy Inn was also fabulous great food and lovely people. We arrived and met the owner (Keri). She showed us 'everything' we needed to know about the property and left us with a comprehensive "welcome pack". For those of you who fly this is definitely a "business class" house. We'd be very happy to have another holiday in Howard Cottage. Jean and Peter

The accommodation ticked all the boxes as far as we were concerned.

Of all the properties we have stayed at (many through Sykes) this would rate in our top 2. The property was well located for visiting the Cotswolds area. we have been to the Cotswolds many times and due to health problems this will probably be our last visit. However, if we do ever come back this is where we'll hope to stay.

This is a beautiful bungalow with a gorgeous secure garden.

There is everything you need to cook and if you don’t there’s food served at the local pub. Its location is excellent and everywhere we visited was a short drive. There’s some lovely local walks and the village is quiet and welcoming. We would definitely return to this property.

The owners were so helpful and welcoming . The cottage is very well equiped and well positioned for exploring the beautiful countryside around it. I was accompanied by a person with learning difficulties who settled in to the cottage with ease. Thank you.

Keri met us when we arrived to provide local information and left a welcome basket with treats for us and the dogs. Garden is lovely and very secure for dogs. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service.

When we book a property we don't normally meet the owner or even have an email conversation.

With this property, from the first personal welcoming email, successive emails and personal welcome we really felt valued and befriended. Given the popularity of this property, that is quite a commitment. The property was privately situated, comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Lovely bungalow in a quiet setting.

Everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Garden is beautiful and large, has plenty of seating and is dog secure.All rooms are spotless and very warm. The conservatory is lovely and we used this room a lot. There are lots of extras throughout, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are a handy extra. Bedrooms are large with loads of space for clothes and bags. Kitchen is very well equipped. We will definitely return and would recommend this property to anyone, it will not disappoint. Broadway is 15 mins away.

This Howard cottage stands as my all time number 2. We will have no hesitation in visiting again, Highly recommend!.

It is beautiful throughout. Spotless there were everything you could possibly need. Keri, the special lady did a warm friendly meet and greet at the Cottage. She made us so welcome, the garden was big and beautiful. Everywhere was very tidy well maintained. I would definately highly recommend this beautiful cottage. So cosy warm and very comfortable.the ensuite wetroom was absolutely massive, wonderful shower. The beds are super comfy. Bedrooms were big. I cant speak highly enough about Keri and the cottage!!!! So warm friendly and very welcoming!!!! Nothing was too much for keri she is such a lovely lady. She is very caring and she really wants you to have a good time.

Howard Cottage exceeded our expectations and was a real home from home.

Wonderfully appointed and within easy reach of The Cotswolds, Stratford and Warwick, the cottage was in a quiet location in a lovely village with a fantastic pub serving yummy food just next door. Highly recommended!

Magnificent!

Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and quiet, Howard Cottage is an ideal spot for exploring the Cotswolds. One of the best we’ve ever stayed in.

A beautifully presented property with a lovely peaceful garden which was very secure for dogs.

A handy pub next door which did good meals, but no noise from it. A lovely welcome from Keri and a very comprehensive welcome pack. Well sited for visiting Cotswold towns, Stratford, Warwick and many national trust properties.

We had a lovely Holiday at Howard Cottage, the house 5 ⭐ the Garden 5 ⭐ and the Owner has to be 5 ⭐.

It is obvious how much thought has gone into everything in this home. We had a warm welcome from Keri on arrival together with a very generous food basket. The house is spotless and makes it hard to leave! Lovely garden, lovely village and a pub around the corner, excellent! We'll be back!

Four of us plus Luna the dog spent a great week at Howard Cottage.

We felt it was probably the best place we had stayed, clean comfortable and facilities supplied were superb and the welcome pack was so generous. Luna enjoyed the enclosed garden as we all did, sitting out in the very pretty garden. Mention too for the Ivy Inn, good food and friendly staff. Thank you Keri.

Howard Cottage is by far the best holiday property my wife and I have had the pleasure of staying in.

The facilities were more than abundant, the garden really secure for the dog and grandchild. The setting is peaceful and calm. The location is within a short drive to fantastic dog walks, shopping and sightseeing. Keri you are great host and we can't thank you enough for sharing Howard Cottage with us.

Without doubt this was the best holiday cottage that we have ever used since staying with Sykes holiday cottage’s since we began using this website four years ago.

This is an excellent property and would recommend anyone to stay.

Really lovely bungalow.

Very clean, modern and comfortable with lots of extras. Very secure garden that even our small dog couldn’t get out of. We couldn’t find a single fault with it. One of the best we’ve stayed in. Lots to do in the area. Quiet situation but very easy to get to places.We had a lovely week and will definitely book again if we come to the area. Keri is the perfect owner, very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive.

All agreed that this was a superb property and it was clear that the owner was wholly invested in efforts to provide the perfect stay.

Extremely well equipped, in fact, one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in to date. Very clean and comfortable. Great showers. Private location tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample parking and a lovely garden environment. Well placed for the Cotswolds and Stratford etc. We met Keri the owner on arrival, a very friendly and approachable lady, who was keen to assist in any way possible to ensure the perfect stay. The Ivy pub was in easy walking distance, where the food, drinks and service were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to any future customers.

The welcome basket was extremely generous and it was very helpful knowing in advance that toiletries were provided. There was no disturbance from the pub next door and the food we had in there was brilliant and very reasonably priced. Many thanks to Keri for meeting us on arrival and explaining everything we needed to know.

It had everything you wanted and more. We are regular customers of Sykes and this is the best property we have been in. The welcome package was the best ever. If we went back to the area, this is the property we would go for.

Howard Cottage is the best one we have ever stayed in, 5* plus plus.

Extremely comfortable, everything you could possibly need. Plenty of equipment, spare bedding, towels. Pristine everywhere. The Welcome Pack, again the best we have ever had, including box of extra tea bags, sugar, coffee in cupboard. Everything needed for at least couple of days breakfast. Garden a delight, lovely to sit in, plus table and chairs under a gazebo as well as set on patio. Keri very helpful, lovely lady. Had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Keri.

Superbly furnished & appointed accommodation with the best welcome, and welcome pack, we've ever experienced (and we take several cottages every year).

The owners were very helpful, easy access and plenty of private parking. Though the accommodation is adjacent to the bottom end of the excellent local pub/restaurant it's well fenced off out of site and there was absolutely no noise or disturbance. The garden was well kept with loads of seating & tables. Appears to be not far from a local glider club so we were entertained by the gliders riding the thermals. Don't miss the NT Fleece @ Bretford (where they host the start of the asparagus season and auction) if you like very very old pubs full of curiosities, Gins, real ales, artisan ciders and excellent dining. Chipping Campden worth a visit.

She explained how everything worked and where everything was. The cottage was immaculate and with all the amenities of home. Ideally situated for trips out into the Worcestershire countryside and further afield. A very thoughtful welcome pack including treats for the dog and pastries for the human guests. Would highly recommend

What a wonderful place Howard Cottage is.

Absolutely has everything you need. We felt very comfortable and completely at home. As recommended we went to the pub our last night and had a lovely meal. We would love to come stay again.

Had an Absolutely fantastic holiday, great accommodation everything you need in the bungalow, some goodies when we arrived which was enjoyed by all of us.

Great location for the Cotswolds , didn’t manage to get to the local pub as we were so busy. Certainly would return and definitely recommend to anyone who wants that little bit extra.

Outstanding attention to detail and care .

Pre arrival information very informative and thorough plus we were met and given a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for Keri as she provided an efficient tour round. Keri even catered for our gluten free requirements in the welcome pack. Absolutely loved our stay !!! The garden was totally dog friendly and we saw some sunshine so were able to enjoy the lovely garden

A beautiful bungalow, very helpful owner and friendly neighbours.

Everything we needed was supplied as well as other things we hadn't thought of. Pub next door was very welcoming, shame we didn't get more chance to use it. All in all a lovely place to stay if you are visiting the area.

We have had a fabulous, relaxing, peaceful stay.

I sat on the bench out front on Sunday, with my book, and caught the sun however there is more seating in the back garden too. This is the 1st holiday rental that we have been to that has been so well equipped and of such a high standard. It was an added bonus having a smart TV with Netflix etc. we settled down one night, with a beer, and watched a film of choice. The bed is super comfy and there is plenty of hanging/drawer space. There is plenty of parking space too. The pub does a good pint and the food is great and all at a reasonable price. The welcome pack is excellent and much appreciated, we could have a cuppa and a pastry when we settled in.

10/10 superb place to stay.

It was comfortable, quiet, clean and absolutely everything was catered for. A well stocked Welcome Basket was also provided. The garden is lovely and well cared for. The amenities were first class and there was everything you could need and more. The property was spotless and a very thoughtful welcome pack was supplied on arrival. Location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds.

The welcome pack was a nice surprise- it would be good to advertise this as we arranged a click and collect order so didn’t use all that was available, the local pub does lovely food, I’m gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating by checking items and had a good menu. Hopefully will return

If anything, I would say the listing undersells the property which was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for your stay.

It was perfect t for outlets stay with my parents with areas of local beauty a short drive away. The welcome basket meant we had everything we needed for a cuppa when we arrived and our breakfast. Thank you.
