    All very clean, comfortable beds. Lovely to be able to just walk into Moreton in Marsh which has a number of coffee shops and restaurants together with small independent shops.

Cotswold House is very much the Grand and perfect Cotswold Retreat presented beautifully and stylishly with huge spacious rooms, fabulous floor to ceiling windows and has a layout that gives a wonderful flow and lends itself to a perfect entertaining space. Step out the front door and within two mins walk you are immersed in Moreton’s diverse selection of local Restaurants, Pubs, Cheese & Wine Merchants, Artisan Bakers, an Award winning Coffee shop, Antique shops and even a fabulous interiors shop not forgetting three supermarkets close by too.

Everything is on the doorstep. Cotswold house is a 10 min drive to the fabulous one stop feel good Eco Organic playground 'Daylesford Farm' which offers a huge selection of Farm Groceries, Artisan Breads/Cheeses, basically a foodie haven which ticks all the boxes and has something for everyone eco / organic children’s toys, kitchen/homeware, candles, garden plants, a Restaurants, a Lounge Bar, a Cafe, a Juice Bar plus lots of takeaway yummies to keep you fuelled and If you want to unwind book into the Bamford Spa for a massage, facial or a Meditation class.

Some of the best foodie hot spots/pubs, children’s activities are within 10-15min car ride of Cotswold House and Soho Farmhouse is 25mins away.

Cotswold House dates back to the early 19th Century and boasts some original features, with oak flooring, marble worktops, an Aga, a snooker/pool table, darts multiple board games and a private south facing garden.

MORETON-IN-MARSH

Stow-on-the-Wold 4.5 miles; Bourton-on-the-Water 8 miles; Stratford-upon-Avon 16 miles; Cheltenham 23 miles; Oxford 31 miles.

The Saxon market town of Moreton-in-Marsh lies on the Fosse Way Roman Road in the northern Cotswolds and boasts many elegant 18th century buildings, which are home to traditional inns, serving real ales and home-cooked food, tea rooms, restaurants and individual shops to suit all tastes. It also boasts it's own train station and lies on the intersection of the Paddington rail line from London. The town hosts the Moreton-In-Marsh Show, one of the UK's largest one-day agricultural shows, as well as the Moreton Beer Festival, an annual French Market, and a large outdoor market every Tuesday. Many walks and cycle rides through the beautiful rolling countryside of the Cotswolds can be enjoyed from the centre of the town, with the Macmillan Way, Heart of England Way, Gloucestershire and Monarch's Way all running close by. Less than five miles away is Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds. This ancient market town has played host to many fairs since the 12th century and today holds a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs and monthly farmers' market. Close by is Bourton-on-the-Water, which is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds as the River Windrush runs through the centre. It lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is one of the most popular Cotswold villages. Also within reach is the spa town of Cheltenham. This town boasts an incredible range of shops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants and pubs, and is famous for its horseracing festival in March, culminating in the Gold Cup steeplechase. Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath, Worcester and the waterfront city of Gloucester are also within driving distance. A convenient base for exploring the Cotswolds and the wider area.

Note: This property only accommodates a maximum of 10 guests at any one time. If additional guests are invited this will need to be approved by the owner prior to arrival and may incur a charge.

PET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Two house trained dogs are welcome at £100 per dog, per stay and any additional dogs need to be approved by the owners also charged at £100 each, if approved.

NO puppies, untrained dogs, cats or other animals permitted.

Pet Owners will be responsible for the repair or replacement of any items damaged ie carpets, sofa, upholstery/floors. If our housekeepers see that a dog has fouled in the house / garden an additional £250 cleaning fee will be retained from your security deposit.

By paying the Pet Fee you agree to the above terms.

Note: The front drive and back gate are covered by CCTV.

The top floor bathroom has a saniflow toilet, only toilet tissue and bodily matter can be flushed down or else it could block and flood the house.

The owners supply "Plastic free, Bleach free & no harmful chemical” Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Towel & Tissue Boxes from Naked Sprout.
