“Firstly, the accommodation was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 dogs).”

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The seating is comfortable downstairs and the bed is comfortable upstairs. The bathroom was clean with shower and a mirror that lights up (no bath). We were greeted with a bottle of white wine on the table. There’s a number of DVD’s for those evenings in. The kitchen has everything you will need with a huge cooker and extractor fan. Outside there’s a fully enclosed garden with a table and chairs which catches the morning sunshine with a nice amount of shade in the heat of the day. There’s ample off-road parking. I’ve given our holiday experience 4 out of 5 for a number of reasons. 1) the path to the property is overgrown with bush and trees meaning you have to duck and weave every time you enter or exit the property. You can imagine this is quite awkward when you first get there or the day you leave. 2) the TV reception is poor. Every day we had picture breakup sometimes making it quite unwatchable. Twice I reset the free view channels which made a small improvement but one evening we made use of the DVD’s provided because it was so bad. 3) a dog from the adjoining farm could be heard barking often between 23.00 and 02.00 which would wake us up. Minor things I know but all the same it took the edge off our holiday experience. That considered we would still be happy to go back again. There’s lots to see and experience in the Cotswolds and this property is a good base.
