The property

A beautiful Grade II listed Black and White thatched cottage ideally located in the heart of the pretty village of Harvington in the Vale of Evesham, overlooked by the beautiful Medieval church of St James.

The character and charm of this 16th century cottage is evident as you enter, boasting numerous wall and ceiling beams and a stunning fireplace together with contemporary furnishings making for a very comfortable stay.

A very well-equipped dining kitchen has everything needed to prepare a romantic meal while the cosy sitting room has sumptuous seating and a lovely multi-fuel stove, ideal for warming toes on chilly nights.

Make your way up the original staircase to a stunning first floor bedroom, offering a luxurious king-size bed, a plethora of original beams and views of the village.

The cottage has the added benefit of a utility/boot room, an external bike store/drying room and a pretty enclosed cottage garden with lovely shrubs, a wonderful place to sit and relax with a good book in the summerhouse or enjoy the delights of alfresco dining on a summer's evening. The village also offers a very well-stocked farm shop selling local produce, a village pub again serving home-cooked food, both within walking distance from the cottage, as well as an 18 hole golf course open to the public and national level fishing lakes.

Enjoy a day out at Cheltenham with its beautiful Georgian architecture, the pretty market towns of Evesham and Pershore, or a little further afield are unspoilt Cotswold villages, Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and the cathedral city of Worcester.

A superb cottage for a romantic break at any time of year.

The thriving village of Harvington is situated in beautiful Worcestershire countryside close to the border with Warwickshire and on the Blossom Trail. Harvington boasts an excellent well-stocked farm shop and two traditional village pubs, one of which is a triple award-winning CAMRA pub and both serve home-cooked food and local real ales.
