“Although not a large property the Old Bothy has been renovated to a very high standard.”

The rooms have been tastefully done and the original features are beautiful. Certainly big enough for two people. I noticed the blue light flashing on the boiler but didn’t touch it. Don’t know if there can be something in the booklet about what to do in this situation or if it’s best to leave it? Don’t know if there can be something in the booklet about what to do in this situation or if it’s best to leave it? I know there are contact numbers however for something that we may have been able to fix ourselves it didn’t seem right to call anyone out. However would have done so if it had posed any problem. It certainly didn’t affect the hot water. The village of Halford is lovely and we met some of the villagers whilst out walking around the village who were very friendly and stopped for a chat with us. All in all, we would stay at the old Bothy again without any hesitation.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will put a note in the booklet about the boiler, thank you. Halford we think is a friendly village, and we are glad you were able to see some of that. Please do not hesitate to use the call out numbers. Robin and Diana Wall. Property Owner
