“Fantastic place to stay very quite ,dog friendly and safe to leave outside .”

Cottage was very clean on arrival nice lounge with wood burnner and 2 sofas,into kitchen and everything you would need for your stay.Single room with 2 beds which we didnt use ,main bathroom with shower over bath which was very nice et from the shower unit ,lots of hot water to fill the bath.Main bed room has nice big bed very comfy and very nice duvet.All in all nice cottage would stay again .Easy acces to Bambury and stradford on avon.

“A wonderful place to stay, warm, clean and welcoming, with home made bread, cookies, and some eggs and milk.”

Lovely location, even during a very wet February week, plenty to see and do, and dog friendly too, the wood burner is lovely, wood, kindling and firefighters supplied. Roger and Debbie are perfect hosts, available nearby if you need them, they’ve thought of everything in great detail. We’ll definitely be back!

“Lovely property that has all we needed.”

Great open-plan bungalow layout that is accessible and was beneficial to our dogs' need to move around the property at their will (no stairs to worry about!). Appreciated the bread, eggs and milk that they provided, as well as the information available about where to eat/visit/etc nearby. Property is very close to a main road, but there was no noise at night time. There is even an agility course for you dogs.

Clean and comfortable beds and sofas. Comprehensive folder with detailed instructions regarding the care of the property. Dog friendly with owners offering a gated field for exercising the dogs. Peaceful location with access to Stratford-upon-Avon and Shipston on Stour. Would highly recommend.

“The cottage is lovely.”

We had cookies, bread, eggs and a jug of milk waiting for us. The owners are really nice. There are long walks which was amazing as the weather was fabulous. Access to two huge paddocks for our dogs which they loved to run around. High recommend this property.

“Beautiful barn conversion.”

The hosts were really welcoming and we had fresh homemade bread and cookies and eggs from their hens. A proper home from home. Very dog friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was warm and comfortable and very clean, everything we needed was to hand. Would definitely recommend it and plan to return ourselves

“My second visit - Robbie's Barn is a little bit magical, it's so relaxing.”

The weather was rubbish but the fire was warm and toasty. The fresh eggs were delicious and Debbie and Roger fantastic hosts to this incredibly dog and human friendly cottage. Hope to visit again next year.

“We were welcomed well even though we were early The owners were great always about if you needed them but never in your face.”

The dog walking area was fine two fields all to our selves the owners had 3 dogs of their own but were well secured but very friendly. the area was lovely and we found an especially nice pub The Bell Inn the menu was fantastic I cant remember the name of the village but I put it in the visitors book we ate there 4 times which speaks for itself everthing was spot on also the bridge at halford bribge an I ndian restaurant which was realy good

“Made to feel very welcome even before arriving.”

We were warned that they had roofers working on the owners property and the owners apologised in advance. Although you were just over the yard from the owners house and they were always on hand, they were never intrusive. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely welcome pack of milk, fresh bread, eggs (from the owners chooks) and cookies. Rurally situated, very quiet at nightime so we all slept well! Beautiful walks with the dogs right on the doorstop with the lovely sounds of the birds. Easy to access to Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Having the addition of a couple of paddocks to walk the dogs in was a bonus, especially in the evenings when you could watch the barn owl hunting! Would love to go back in the future!

It had everything we needed, we had 3 dogs with us. 4 people there was ample room for us all. The enclosed field was a real bonus, the dogs could have an off lead run and enjoy the agility equipment. The owners were lovely, their if you needed anything

“An excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, Shakespeare country and much more.”

Roger and Debbie are very considerate hosts. They ensure your privacy but are on hand if needed and are happy for a chat. They keep their own dogs very separate, so no concerns if you have dogs that are nervous etc. The paddocks for exercising dogs off the lead is fantastic. The accommodation itself is excellent. All ground floor, with very high standards of cleanliness, equipment and comfort; with some lovely homely touches and parking outside the barn itself. All in all, an excellent choice. We will definitely return. Thank you too Debbie for the home baking, fresh eggs and milk left for arrival.

“The cottage has been beautifully restored and is very well equipped.”

We did not feel as though our dog was regarded as a nuisance, there were even throws supplied to put on the sofas. She was allowed to run free in one of the well fenced fields , which was great as the garden is only a patio. Owners were friendly and welcoming, a really nice weeks stay.

“Excellent property very dog friendly which is good because your not on edge with the don't do this don't do that, they opened the field's so they had somewhere to run as there is only a courtyard with the property .”

“Well where to start.”

...a little piece of heaven on earth. I didn't know what to expect as this was my first time, I usually go caravanning. The place was spotless, well furnished, comfortable bedding etc BUT where Mrs Clarke came into her own was everything you could possibly think of was in the place. Loo paper, kitchen roll, hairdryer, electric fan, washing up liquid, tea towels, full sets of crockery and cutlery, full range of sauce pans and frying pan, vacuum cleaner, in fact I could go on forever. Mrs CLARKE I have to take my hat off to you and the service you offer. I think any other place I stay at will have to work really hard to match your services and hospitality. Thank you so very much.

“We had a lovely stay in this comfortable and well appointed cottage.”

Debbie and Roger were excellent hosts - did not intrude at all but were there if you needed them. Very dog friendly - went we first went on there was no sign that dogs had stayed in the property so the clean up operation is very thorough. They made a field available to exercise our dogs and there are plenty of footpaths very near to the cottage (just across the road for example). The cottage is set in beautiful un-spoilt countryside but great for NT properties, Stratford Upon Avon and the beautiful Cotswolds. Although no pub in the village there are plenty in adjoining villages and if you are a walker the distances are pretty short. Thank you

“Lovely barn in a great location.”

Clean and well equipped. However the free WiFi was practically useless unless you stood by the door. We could not plan routes or look up dog friendly places/pubs or book anywhere online which post covid a lot of places like you to do. For that reason we would not make a return visit.

“Lovely cottage, well situated in peaceful surroundings and close to both Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds.”

Very homely and comfortable with quality furnishings. Well equipped and spacious. The welcome pack included home-made cookies, bread and eggs - all delicious. Freshly cut flowers adorned the living area. The owners were very kind and helpful. The log burner was ready to light and made the cottage very cosy. The bedrooms were a bit chilly as the temperature dropped in the evenings but otherwise a perfect break.

“We had a lovely long weekend break in Fulready.”

Great location for a family with dogs as there are many footpaths and walks from the barn without having to drive. The barn was well kitted-out and cosy with the wood burning stove. The only thing to mention would be a drying facility for wet coats and boots as we got soaked in some pretty awful weather. Overall, though a great place to stay.

“Under the circumstances with covid our holiday cottage was great with everything we needed and more.”

The location of the cottage was also great due to it being quite reasonable to reach most places of intrest within the Cotswolds. The owners made us feel at home and were extreamly approachable if you needed anything, The slight down side to our holiday was the fact that it was very hit and miss if any pubs or local restaurants were open, unfortunatly due to covid they were more often closed. However we had all we needed at the cottage to cook a few of our own meals which was enjoyable. Would recommend the cottage and would also re book again when everything is open.

“The property and the hosts are very nice.”

The surroundings are quiet and the location is perfect for making daytrips into the Cotswolds. The owners are super dog-friendly and it is possible to start your hike right outside the house. Although our holiday was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay, the WIFI wasn't functioning. Which was inconvenient as cellphone reception wasn't great either. Obviously very good to forget about (social) media for a while, but keep it in mind when you think about staying connected for work-purposes.

“The cottage was extremely clean and well furnished.”

It was cosy, with a great log burner. The kitchen was well equipped and the fenced off section around the cottage was ideal to let our dogs out for some fresh air. The owners were very welcoming and left us a gift of fresh eggs, biscuits, bread and apple juice, which were all delicious. We had a lovely weekend even though the weather was dreadful. I was definitely recommend this cottage to friends.

“On arrival which we was early we was greeted by the occupant .”

He showed us around a little while later his wife came in with fresh flowers and milk , The cottage was beautiful everything and more ,we had home cooked cookies they were delicious , we had easy parking and as it was chilly in evening being April there was logs already for the fire which we lit on our short stay .it was so cozy we didn’t want to leave , I would definitely recommend a visit here the countryside was beautiful loved our stay

The property

Robbie's Barn is a wonderful vacation rental located close to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon in the quiet hamlet of Fulready in the northern Cotswolds.

The cottage has recently undergone extensive eco-friendly renovations, including the installation of solar panels and a ground source heat pump.

The interior of the cottage, which is all on one floor (great for people with restricted mobility), is quite cosy, warm, and homey with some lovely features like lovely oak beams and a wood burning stove.

Robbie's is located in Fulready, which is close to Stratford as well as Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold in the Cotswolds.

We adored the organic vegetables that the proprietors had grown and that you are invited to buy!

This is a very high grade of lodging, in our opinion.
