“We enjoyed a super stay at Woodbine Cottage.”

It was beautifully decorated. An absolute delight after a previous dreadful Sykes stay in Corfe Castle!! Luxurious bedding in 2 lovely bedrooms. The cottage is a dark space, apart from the porch and bathroom so sunlight didn't really penetrate. It didn't really warm up inside so we certainly needed the heating! However, despite temperature recommended we had to turn up the heating and sit in our coats!! Not great? We felt the kitchen needed a few essential extras like a slotted spoon and salt+pepper. We managed a few simple meals and found all that we needed. Lovely dining area opposite made meal times easy... However we did enjoy the local pub Kings Arms' hospitality many times that week. Lovely village with great walks close by especially down to the river... We found exiting the property on a bend was quite tricky so we felt we had to leave the gate open when we ventured out every afternoon! We really did walk the Avon River quite thoroughly at Bidford, Evesham and Stratford. All lovely destination for nature... We only ventured into Cheltenham, Warwick+Stratford towns. The journey back from Cheltenham through the villages was probably the most beautiful route ever... Thank you for a lovely stay. And the Easter biscuits were fantastic!!
