    “Lovely house and garden.”

We had a lovely stay but the property needs a few tweaks. Cost lounge with nice sofas. Large new and well equipped kitchen and comfy garden seating. We had a lovely stay but the property needs a few tweaks. Cost lounge with nice sofas. Large new and well equipped kitchen and comfy garden seating. Free tea and coffee and well stocked drawer of kitchen essentials like tinfoil, Sandwich bags etc which is very helpful. Fans in bedrooms which was very helpful during a heatwave. Fab central location and free parking. Sadly beds are doubles not kings and mattresses uncomfy, Could feel springs. Bedding cheap and made of polyester so felt hot and uncomfy. Pillows like lumps of cardboard and only suitable for the bin, Felt old and very well used. No blackout curtains in second double room and yellow curtains meant occupant was woken at 6 every morning by bright yellow light. Towels in master cheap (Tesco) and thin and although felt new had not been washed so not absorbent. Central Lighting in lounge absolutely blinding- need to change lightbulbs to warm white not burn your retinas out white. TV worked on first night but internet not working on Saturday night so unable to watch England match.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. We're delighted to hear that you had a lovely stay and enjoyed the house, garden and central location. It's great to know that you found the lounge comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the garden seating enjoyable, and that the tea, coffee, kitchen essentials and bedroom fans were appreciated during the heatwave. We're sorry to hear that certain aspects of the property fell short of your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the mattresses, pillows and bedding, as guest comfort is extremely important to us. We'll ensure this feedback is shared with the property owner for consideration. Thank you also for highlighting the lack of blackout curtains in the second double bedroom, the quality of the towels, and the brightness of the lounge lighting. These are all useful observations, and we'll review them with the owner to see what improvements can be made. We're particularly sorry to hear that the internet connection affected your ability to watch the England match on the Saturday evening. We understand how frustrating this must have been and will arrange for the connection to be investigated. Thank you again for your balanced and constructive feedback. We're pleased that, overall, you had a lovely stay and we hope to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes Manor Cottages Property Owner
