    “Beautiful property, tastefully decorated.”

    Gorgeous comfortable sofas and lovely bedding and towels with thoughtful complimentary toiletries. The shower temperature in the top room and twin was difficult to control and too hot. The twin room door would not shut properly and needs the catch adjusting. There was no bedside table and lamp in the twin room. Some snags such as wobbly taps and toilet flush which need attending to. Would have liked hooks on the doors for dressing gown etc and somewhere in the shower to put shampoo etc instead ...

Was annoying that I had to phone property management for a WiFi code. An information booklet would be useful with WiFi code and details of emergency medical numbers etc. Wasn’t crystal clear where we were supposed to park and there was some confusion about that with the neighbouring property apparently though when I was messaged about this I didn’t receive an acknowledgment to my reply. Just a few niggles then but all in all the owners have made a beautiful job of refurbishing the house and the photos really need to be updated to reflect this. The courtyard garden, furniture and facilities were fab.

The property

Set close to the heart of Broadway on the upper end of the High Street, Bay House Cottage is an absolute beauty of a Cotswold Holiday cottage.

Once upon a time, not too long ago, this used to be Broadway's very own exclusive wine and cheese store which kept the well-to-do fed and watered in fine wine and hence why the unique and unmissable bay windows look so attractive.

Today, the owners have restored the entire building, beautifully, to provide spacious accommodation for six people with three ensuite bathrooms - absolutely ideal for families or groups of friends.

The natural colours and hues throughout are a-typical of the area, while the huge sofas and vast dining table give the ground floor a pleasing country feel.

As the house is on the upper side of the High Street, it has the benefit of being very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the lower side and yet you're just 200 yards from the nearest pub or cafe!

It's hard not to impressed with this sophisticated holiday home.
