“This is a lovely house, easily suitable for eight people.”

It has a courtyard, a conservatory, a lounge, a dining area, and a kitchen all on the ground floor thereby giving plenty of breakout areas if needed. Plus a ground floor toilet, easily accessible from the courtyard. The first floor has two bedrooms, one ensuite and the other bedroom has a bathroom and toilet next to it. There is also a lovely balcony along the landing which can seat eight. The second floor has an en-suite bedroom and large open plan area used as a bedroom with a wrap ...

The second floor has an en-suite bedroom and large open plan area used as a bedroom with a wrap around balcony off it. This balcony is narrow so no group sitting, more of "in a line" sitting scenario. The en-suite bedroom is the sole toilet and shower on this floor but with us all being family and not minding being disturbed at night it wasn't an issue for the bedroom to be walked through by the others sleeping in the large open plan bed area, but it may not suit others. The house is in a great location with Warwick castle a few steps away. Warwick itself is walking distance and it has lots of independent shops and places to eat along with the usual chain establishments. The garage really is very tight squeeze. A Citroen C4 just about fitted in but the boot and rear doors weren't able to be opened once inside the garage, so unloading took place outside then the car parked in the garage. The owner kindly sorted a the sole parking permit allowed by the council for another car, and a further car parked for three nights and two days in a pay & display car park near Sainsbury's. If you do park outside the property be aware it is pay & display and has very keen traffic wardens patrolling. The owner kept in touch before, during and after our visit providing helpful information for us. It's a great place to stay, plenty of room, nice and warm, lots of space and we do recommend it to others.
