    “Walnut Cottage is by far the best property we have stayed at so far (this was our 3rd visit).”

    We have always booked with Sykes and have never been disappointed with the properties but in our experience Walnut Cottage stands head and shoulders above all the others. My thoughts on holiday rentals has always been if it ticks 7 out of 10 boxes then that's acceptable but this one ticks all 10. My thanks go out to the owners for providing such a great place to spend time in.

Just 5 miles from Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, Welford boasts 3 village pubs, including the award-winning Bell Inn which won the best dining pub in Warwickshire 2016. Welford also has a general store, a butcher's, a children's play area, one of the tallest maypoles in England, many thatched cottages and a popular golf club.
