Walnut Cottage

We had a lovely week at walnut cottage.

Cottage was lovely base for a busy week of days out

A lovely cottage with a nice private patio overlooking fields to the rear.

Accommodation was clean and very spacious. Ideal for a family short break or longer 2 week vacation as we did. Plenty to see and places to eat nearby.

A delightful cottage with lovely views.

We booked this for a mid-week break and wasn't disappointed. The cottage had all the facilities we require and the open plan living area was spacious and well appointed. The only suggestion for improvement I can think of off hand would be to consider providing more bath towels. I am an average size bloke and one bath towel and one hand towel per person was not quite enough for me.

The holiday cottage was in a lovely location and perfect for exploring the cotswolds Ideal spot we have been three times and always loved it there Will be booking again soon Cotswolds is a lovely place with it's beautiful villages Would recommend going the cotswolds lavender farm Lovely holiday 10/10

The house was very nice, modern and warm.

Very clean. Good space.Wonderful Veiw from all rooms. The onl thing i would say the bathroom was very small, with a tiny sink no room to put even a tooth brush. No hooks to hang a towel. The shower was good, but again very small.

Lovely cottage with stunning views.

Very clean. Would definitely book again

I just couldn't fault Walnut Cottage, clean, comfortable, very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen.

We went for Christmas and there was even a Christmas tree. Lovely views and in summer a lovely patio for sitting out. Highly recommend and if we come this way again will definitely book Walnut Cottage.

Very nice accommodation.

Well equipped, spotlessly clean and ideal location for visiting Stratford and surrounding area.

We had a lovely stay at Walnut Cottage, the cottage was very warm and comfortable.

Lovely to see the sheep each day. The kitchen was well equipped.

Perfect position for visiting the area and in glorious open aspect farmland.

Made to feel welcome on arrival by the owners who live next to the pair of cottages. Bedrooms wonderfully quirky and everything clean and comfortable. Would recommend it but, if you have children who need stimulation, you may need to take your own games or books and I don't think there was a DVD player.

A wonderful property in a quiet rural setting.

It is well maintained and has many of the appliances you would need for a self catering break. It is very well presented and clean. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Lovely cottage and had everything we needed.

Great views and in a perfect location to explore out and about. Thank you for a great stay

Lovely clean cottage in beautiful surroundings.

Very spacious with all the facilities you would need. Very near the lovely village of Welford with easy access to the surrounding countryside. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to others.

Walnut Cottage is by far the best property we have stayed at so far (this was our 3rd visit).

We have always booked with Sykes and have never been disappointed with the properties but in our experience Walnut Cottage stands head and shoulders above all the others. My thoughts on holiday rentals has always been if it ticks 7 out of 10 boxes then that's acceptable but this one ticks all 10. My thanks go out to the owners for providing such a great place to spend time in.

Very friendly people who were helpful.

Our second visit

The cottage was clean and spacious Lovely place to stay Plenty of places to visit Would recommend to family and friends

Great location for exploring a lot of places!

Michael and Pamela made us very welcome and provided excellent accommodation at Walnut Cottage. We looked forward to returning to the cottage each day as it felt like home. The kitchen was well thought out with ample kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Great shower with plenty of water pressure. The cottage was exceptionally clean. Would not hesitate in recommending this property and will be returning again. Thank you Michael and Pamela

Great base for visiting the local area.

Lovely accommodation with beautiful views, very clean and everything necessary for a very comfortable stay. Owners very welcoming on arrival and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The property was in just the right spot for access to the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon.

It was very clean and comfortable.

beautiful little cottage for a family of 4.

It was clean, nicely refurbished and was supplied with everything you need. Downstairs is all open plan which was great for our toddler as he could just run around. The area was quiet with beautiful views of the countryside and was only a short drive into Stratford Town and Evesham. There is a convenience store and three pubs/restaurants within a five minute drive. We tried The Bell Inn and The Four Alls and can highly recommend both. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely be returning.

Walnut cottage completely catered for all our needs for a short weekend stay.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable, it was a real home from home in a peaceful countryside setting. The three year old with us loved the lambs in the adjacent field! The milk and cake on arrival was much appreciated.

The property was very clean and comfortable.

It is ideally located for visiting Stratford on Avon whilst being out of the busyness. It is also an ideal location to visit the Cotswolds. The property has all you need to enjoy a break. It doesn’t have a washing machine but, on holiday, that’s not a great loss. You are surrounded by open countryside and the whole place feels very tranquil. There’s a lovely sun trap at the rear of the property and the owners have set out a table and chairs to make use of this space. If you have any issues the owners are on site and very approachable and helpful. The closest shop and restaurant is in Welford on Avon which is about 1 - 1.5 miles away. As there are no footpaths along part of the road from the property to the village walking would not be advisable. All in all a great place and would certainly check out its availability if revisiting the area.

On our arrival we were greeted by our very welcoming and gracious host who handed us the keys to the cottage.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and tidy in the every respect and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The cottage is well situated for visiting the many interesting towns and villages in the area and also walks along the Avon River nearby. We would like to thank our hosts for providing such quality accommodation and a lovely welcome pack. All in all a very enjoyable stay at Walnut Cottage.
