Little Barn

Several issues, and we weren't even going to complain but the owners billed us for 2 things that were unfair, so I complained.

The owners and Sykes then threw it all back and said it was all our fault. I hope the owners have learnt something from this. Sykes just sided with them. What else can I say..

What a property and what a holiday.

Property was very well catered for and if you have any questions owners are close by to help. The location is superb close enough to amenities but far enough away for peace and tranquility. Numerous walks available and if you have a dog they will definitely enjoy. Would highly recommend.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in de Little Barn.

Ruime, rustig gelegen cottage met alle voorzieningen. Direct uit de deur het veld in wandelen met de hond is perfect. John en Karen zijn de perfecte gastheer/gastvrouw en zeker John heeft een encyclopedische kennis over de omgeving waar we veel gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Kortom, een aanrader en we komen zeker terug.

Beautiful rural setting and a comfortable well equipped cottage

Lovely accommodation it had everything you need for a relaxing stay and to be a home away from home.

Very comfortable and nice and quiet. The views from the windows were stunning, especially seeing the sheep in the field on a daily basis. Central to all attractions. Would very much recommend.

Little barn is lovely cottage and was well equipped everything we needed beautiful location and cottage was very clean comfortable ideal for use as family John and Karen the owners very friendly helpful .

it was the second time we stayed at the cottage because we love it so much.

you can go the whole day visiting places knowing that you can come back to the cottage where it is so peaceful. the owners are very kind and allways there when you need them. Hopefully we can come back next year

An enjoyable stay despite dreadful rain.

We were met on arrival by Mrs Lawrence who was very helpful and made us feel welcome. It was a pleasant restful stay and lovely to walk out the door and have a choice of country walks. The dog was very happy there and slept in the kitchen each night. The pub in Whichford was very welcoming and friendly. Sunday dinner was very good at the Norman Knight. The pottery was very interesting with an excellent cafe. All only about 20 minutes walk from Little Barn. Many thanks. Would love to go again

A really lovely cottage.

Everything is of a high quality and very comfortable. The hosts are so welcoming, and happy to advise on local places to visit. Very peaceful location, with geese, sheep, ducks and chickens to keep you company.

Little Barn is an excellent barn conversion in a quiet, unspoilt area of the Cotswolds, but only a short drive to note able bustling towns such as Chipping Norton & Moreton in the Marsh.

The barn has all home comforts & is well furnished & managed by the owners who live nearby. The surrounding countryside was beautiful with rolling hills punctuated by ancient trees. There is a well marked public footpath on the doorstep, leading to a deep valley & further hay meadows. Little Barn is on an incredibly quiet road with hardly any cars passing by. Local riders use it on a daily basis when exercising their horses. We enjoyed a blissful week of peace & quiet, with birdsong during the day & bats & owls flying around at night. An excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds.

Exactly as described, welcoming hosts and comfortable accommodation.

Kitchen well supplied with cooking equipment which is not always the case. Could you do something about the weather though! :-)

Absolutely perfect rural retreat for those that want a quiet family holiday with their four legged friend.

The location was amazing for us with many picturesque walks right on the doorstep, beautiful villages and the local pub a 10 minute walk along very quiet country lanes. You are only 20 - 30 minutes drive away from some incredible little Cotswold towns and villages and we would highly recommend you take the time to explore. No road noise, no town noise, very little traffic anywhere.....Heaven! The owners Mr & Mrs Lawrence who live just along the lane are a lovely friendly couple who are a wealth of local knowledge and advice, highly recommend you have a chat! Ian, Tina & Mollie Phipps. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked, anything you might need was there to use.

Really quiet, not a well driven road so no traffic coming past. Lovely sheep and geese to coo at

It was a beautiful place, well equipped and with kind tenants who live nextdoor.

It has a nice view of the hill, with sheep and geese (and squirrels;-) in the meadow. It is a very quiet area but there is a pub in Whichford which is a quarter of an hour walk, where one can eat and drink. Chipping Norton is only a 10 minutes drive away. Also Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford aren't far away.

Beautiful cottage with everything you might need already there!

Clean and bright with stunning finishes and details! Our little dog loved that he could go out for walks down lanes, across fields and through woods! Really a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing holiday and space away from the everyday routine! Back home fully recharged!!!

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world, the owners met us on arrival and are very nice,the outside area is all concrete overlooked by a field with sheep, the outside area is secure for dogs.

Chipping Norton is the nearest town (small) and has everything you need accessed by many narrow country lanes. We visited the area to explore National Trust properties of which there are many so we were well located, a bonus is that the Morgan car factory an hour away does factory tours, a must for dads.

A really enjoyable stay in Little Barn.

The owners were extremely friendly, checking in during the stay and even inviting us to meet and feed the lambs. Great advice on the local area. The location is extremely peaceful and will almost certainly be back.

This property is the perfect place to stay and leave your troubles behind you.

The only sound you hear are sheep blearing and birds singing and maybe a car or two a day. The barn is like home from home for comfort and cleanliness and owners who greet you and make sure you have everything you need. If you give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

We had a great holiday at the little barn!

However, this barn is not that small! Everything was there to make it a great stay. The owners were fanatic, a chat, advice for the area, home-made scones ... you name it. In addition, a green, peaceful environment to relax, but where our children have also a great time! A stay from which you can go everywhere to admire the surroundings. The Cotswolds is so very beautiful!

Little Barn was all we had hoped for. We hope the cake in the fridge was left for us cos we scoffed the lot. Very nice too. On the last day we managed to find time to go to the local pottery for pots and more cake. Also very nice.
