    “Little barn for us as family what we experienced from this amazing home to the surroundings we booked last minute the Sunday just before Xmas Eve for us our end was all last minute we managed to fit it all in the car I don’t think it was going to happen.”

    the car was packed. I was the driver so the rest of the family they had over an hours journey not even able to move. Bless them it was pitch black didn’t get there till gone 7 at night on Xmas Eve. kept driving up and down the road and I knew it was right near us. everyone was getting unsettled we was all tired worn out. spotted a lady and bless her this lady was getting into her car and she said follow her and she will take us there. she was going passed it. and then we enter the gates. ...

Bless them it was pitch black didn’t get there till gone 7 at night on Xmas Eve. kept driving up and down the road and I knew it was right near us. everyone was getting unsettled we was all tired worn out. spotted a lady and bless her this lady was getting into her car and she said follow her and she will take us there. she was going passed it. and then we enter the gates. the house had the lights on. and opened the doors and just wow. we couldn’t see anything around us as we’re in the county we unloaded the car. and we was all just had a moment me and my husband my 13 year old daughter and our little boy who is two. then to explore the house for me as the mum The kitchen for a mum the livingroom For me as the mum the wife what I experienced I was the kid at Christmas. even the feel of little barn it feels like your home. doesn’t feel like you’ve rented a property it’s feel like a home. what there two lovely owners have created The thought they have put into this little barn The love they have put into it. And all what they have thought about. they a family would need it’s like a home from home. Little barn what you have is as family to wake up on Christmas Day to your home you created our experience was magical To the views the sheep the Christmas tree your love you have put into little barn. Us a family experienced a magical memory a Christmas we will never forget so who ever reads this review little barn once you go it’s a place you never want to leave. A place you just always want to visit again and a again the little barn it’s not just a rental cottage It’s not just a business it’s a home that is loved. by the Lawrence’s what they have created it’s just magical not only you’ve got a house that is loved you’ve got sheep geese Animals and then at night when the sun sets you now have this sky that lights up you’ve now got the stars mesmerising what we experienced as a family from little barn. thank you so much to the Lawrence’s Karen and John thank you so much for your loving kindness happy new year I hope who ever goes to little barn you truely experience what these two lovely Husband and wife have created Once again thank you x

The property

Little Barn, ETB 4 stars, is a wonderful renovated stone barn which faces South overlooking farm fields.

Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification.

Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience.

From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture.

Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford.

The ancient town of Chipping Norton, steeped in history and culture, is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the shadow of the Rollright Hills in this unspoilt area of Oxfordshire. Chipping Norton boasts a popular weekly market, numerous book and antique shops, many cafes, restaurants and pubs serving excellent food and local ales, art galleries, a museum and a thriving theatre. Chipping Norton is surrounded by the pretty limestone villages of the Cotswolds and offers many walks and cycle trails from the town centre, together with a Lido, perfect for a relaxing swim at the end of a busy day.
