A very good property which was almost excellent.
It was clean, well positioned in Stow on the Wold and had so much going for it. The only criticism we had was regarding kitchen items. We would have liked such things as Pyrex style basins and other smaller dishes useful for preparing meals. A wider provision of glasses, eg.pint glasses would have been appreciated. We found ourselves having to either wash crockery and cutlery or use the dishwasher not full as they were needed.
Paddock view is a lovely little cottage right on the edge of the market town of Stow.
It was a perfect getaway for the two of us & Jenny provided everything we needed in the cottage. The local pub is minutes away and a 5 minute stroll takes you into town where there are many shops, pubs and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed visiting Daylesford which was 10 minutes by car. NT Hidcote & Snowshill were also on our itinerary. The cottage is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding towns & villages however everywhere gets extremely busy so if you’re going to explore set off early.
Paddock View was a fabulous 2 bed cottage both rooms are en-suite making it perfect for families.
The cottage was spotless for our stay with towels, toiletries and a welcome pack on arrival. The location is unbelievable with Stow on your doorstep. I would stay here again without hesitation. 5 Stars all day long.
