We had a great stay in Lugg View!

The holiday cottage was in a lovely area and easy to find! The holiday home had everything we needed and the owners were friendly and nearby if we had any questions. We really enjoyed the hot tub and outside sitting area. We were there to visit family in Hereford but also got to eat out in Hereford, lovely places to eat! We would definitely recommend this holiday cottage!

We've had an amazing stay at Lugg View, it was very clean, very comfortable and cosy too.

Everything you needed was at hand, crockery, cutlery etc. Great lighting and very well designed to make even a summer's evening, feel cosy, the seating was spot on too. The mattress, bedding were also very comfy. Privacy was better than expected but with an option to use the communal BBQ and patio seating, the gardens, outdoor lighting were absolutely perfect and a real pleasure to see. A trip to the Cross Keys over the road is a must, nice traditional local pub, great staff and regulars. Can't wait to go back, Hereford is such a lovely place with so many good things on your doorstep.

Ideal location for exploring Herefordshire and surrounds.

Good instructions to locate the property. Nice surroundings, pleasant and quiet. Hot tub excellent. Well furnished property. As we were staying a full week, access to a washing machine would have been beneficial.

We had a lovely 5 night stay in great surroundings.

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. You have a very comfortable private patio with hot tub aswell as the well kept communal garden. Great location and good roads to travel and explore. Lots of wildlife to see from the balcony with a view over fields. Charming.

Great place to stay and relax

We had a fantastic stay at Lugg View, the accomodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious.

We loved the log burner and the sofas and beds were super comfy. Kitchen was sufficient for what we needed and a great range of utensils. The cross keys pub over the road was great and everyone was super friendly. We would definitely visit again.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with super cosy feeling from the minute we arrived even down to the delicious spiced muffins with buttercream and giant chocolate buttons topping waiting for us on the kitchen island - they didn't last long !

The hot tub was amazing and the outdoor space is huge with table and chairs and rattan sofas. The woodburner upstairs in the open plan living area created a lovely, warm space along with the underfloor heating downstairs. Only slight downside was being woken up at 8am each morning by someone's dog barking outside, but not sure to whom it belonged. We would definitely stay again !

Absolutely loved the place!

The living accommodation which is upstairs (upside down) cannot be faulted! Well equipped and had we needed! Super cosy at nights! Beds down stairs - extremely comfy and get quality - just alittle snug. We loved the hot tub! They’d had guests in just before us so it must have been a tight turn around and some things could have been a little cleaner but it wouldn’t stop us from returning!

Lugg View was a home from home and more, Beautiful.

It had everything you could want. The welcome we had, the Beautiful cakes Steph made on arrival. The outside area, seating and hot tub was perfect. We was lucky with the weather, so many places to go and visit. Bbq each night, which was set in the gardens. It had a lovely pub across the way. Lugg View is one to come back to.

On arrival the property is amazing kept to a very high standard, clean and well maintained, everything you needed for a wonderful chilled experience hot tub checked and cleaned every other day.

Great base to visit areas around Herefordshire and Ross- on-wye, owners (Jarrod) were on hand for any advice or assistance and Stephs cup cakes were delicious, Thank you for a lovely stay, Dave.

We enjoyed our stay it was beautiful!

! The only thing I can comment negatively on is the fire alarm in the kitchen was above the stove so everytime we cooked on the stove the fire alarm was going off. Near enough all windows and doors were open. Nether the less it was an amazing stay and will definitely be back! Thank you.

We couldn't fault Lugg View in any way. Cleanliness, layout, equipment and overall facilities were all exactly what you would hope for. We love the area and will definitely book here again.

Lugg view is such a beautiful holiday home with such a homely feel.

Perfect country modern home. The hot tub is such a great addition. Homeowners are lovely and made cupcakes upon arrival. I have already reccomened Lugg view to friends and family. I will definitely be returning.

Lugg view was everything we needed and more!

Views from balcony are so peaceful to wake up and have a morning coffee sat in the autumnal mist. Hot tub was lovely. Very clean all round and inside the property and communal garden and hot tub was sparkling! We will defiantly returning in the future! Thanks again x

Amazing place to stay, definitely comfy, cosy and perfect for a getaway in the quiet.

Some really nice touches dotted around, the area is beautiful and there's a lot more to do than you think. We highly recommend both Haye on Wye, and "The Viking Games" where the Axe Throwing and Archery are awesome (Well worth the 40 minute drive, trust us). Overall, very happy, already recommended to friends and family. Thankyou

Lovely holiday home.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great. The automatic lights in the bathrooms took a bit of getting used to but all good generally.

10/10 accommodation.

Could not fault a single thing, clean, luxurious and fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Nice touch with the cupcakes that were left for us on arrival. Would have liked an earlier check in/check out but when we found how clean and spotless our accommodation was you can’t moan. Definitely be booking again in future!

Beautiful holiday let in a perfect setting made for a lovely relaxing break - plenty to do and see around the area which is lovely green countryside with lots of lovely villages and towns both on English and Welsh sides of the boarder

Lugg view was in a beautiful setting.

Lovely place Clean and modern. Would have been better if one of the bedrooms had two twin beds which if wanted could be pushed together to make a double as we had two boys with us that didn’t want to share a bed. We didm’t sleep very well as the mattress and pillows were too hard/firm. Also the neighbours dog barked early in the morning every morning waking us up. Having to checkout at 9:30am not good having to rush around to get out by then. Would be good to extend the checkout time to at least 11:00 am. Did get a little chilly upstairs in the evening which couldn’t adjust the temperature upstairs as it only would set at a certain temperature. Downstairs temperature was fine to adjust. The cupcakes on arrival was a lovely gesture they tasted delicious Thankyou.

Absolutely gorgeous property.

The attention to detail and high quality finish is stunning. It was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was stunning. The views from the balcony watching the squirrels was so nice and the extra touch of complimentary cupcakes & milk to have a cuppa straight away was so thoughtful thank you. Would highly recommend to friends and family and we can’t wait to visit again, we did not want to leave.

Lugg View is a haven of peace and tranquility.

I so enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the birds. It is toasty and warm even in January. The bed, sheets and duvet are so comfy and luxurious I loved getting snuggled in bed at night. Wonderful places to visit. Goodrich Castle - take water to throw in the well and wait...wait...wait. Worcester Cathedral tours of the cathedral and the library (the latter you must book in advance) was absolutely awesome. You can just wander about for free too if you prefer. The hot tub is such a treat. Star gazing at the end of the day was fantastic. Turn all bubbles and lights off to get the most of the night sky. Then enjoy the lovely massaging jets, bubbles and pretty lights. The hosts are very friendly and helpful but also give you the space to just enjoy your fabulous break. I totally recommend this lovely place for the most wonderful break. ENJOY!

Absolutely fantastic cottage , beautiful setting & surrounding grounds maintained to very high standards.

Very small gripe is the Wi-Fi would not let you connect to a sport gambling sites to place a bet on the England football game when I watched it , Must have security set to block , was a bit frustrating as my phone signal was non existent. All other sites connected fine . We will be back as soon as we can get away .

Immaculate and stylish accommodation. Great outdoor area with couch and hot tub. Beautifully clean. Well kept grounds and garden. Love the balcony to sit and read with great views over open fields. Good base to explore Herefordshire / Worcestershire / Wye Valley and beyond. Hope to visit again.

Comfy beds, and lots of little extra touches to make the stay special

The first thing that struck us on arrival was that the place was gleaming and quite lovely.

The four cup cakes and bottles of beer and prosecco were a nice welcome surprise on arrival too. Jarrod, the owner, was charming and helpful. I do agree with a previous review that, as good as the place is, the settee is very low and difficult to get up from if you are of a certain age and if you have any physical issues. The two wicker style armchairs look stylish but are really not comfortable to sit in either but I would not wish to discourage anyone from booking the place - it is quite excellent overall and the hot tub is delightful. The surroundings are lovely, the location of Lugg View in particular feels secluded and very private.

Great set up and location. Private hot tub which we used twice a day sometimes. Very relaxing chilled week away. Highly recommend and will be visiting again.

We enjoyed our stay, the cottage was well presented on arrival, modern facilities, really clean and accounted for everything.

We loved the hot tub, but the water wasn't hot enough. WiFi could have been stronger as couldn't use some apps. Other than that the cottage is stunning. It's a shame there wasn't much to do in the area.

The accommodation, Lugg View, was very nice.

It was very clean & well maintained. Some of the areas, in the bedrooms, we're quite small & tight, but we're manageable. The outside area with the hot tub was very private & was also protected from the winds. The venue is in a lovely place & is ideal as a base for walkers & cyclists, with some great areas like the Malverns only a short drive away. It is also just a short 15 minute drive to Hereford centre for shopping. Our hosts were very nice & are very approachable with good local knowledge for days out & for places to eat locally.

The property was very clean on arrival and the welcome drinks, cakes and milk were very much appreciated, thank you!

Although the dining chairs around the kitchen island were very comfortable, the sofa and wicker chairs were not. We brought in a chair from the balcony as the sofa was too low for sitting comfortably. Lovely outdoor space which, sadly, we couldn’t make use of in late February/early March. We were glad that we picked Lugg View as it was the most private of the properties on the complex. The addition of a broom would be useful as it is a large area to sweep up with a dust pan and hand brush! We didn’t see the owners at all during our stay.

An amazing property, in a great location within easy reach of Hereford, Ledbury and Leominster.

The conversion is stunning and situated in beautifully maintained grounds. Quite exceptional. Would highly recommend and hope to return sometime. Thank you.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Lugg View, it was the perfect way to unwind after some very busy weeks at work!

We’d definitely consider coming back again and have already recommended to family and friend. One very small thing….we couldn’t find an oven glove? I had to use the tea towel which wasn’t ideal. I also think a place with multiple accommodations should also consider having an electric charging point fitted. We go away a lot and it’s something that a lot of places have….especially in more rural areas.

Lugg view is a amazing property, but it could do with a new oven it's very slow at cooking food and the sofa in the living room is so uncomfortable and so slow to the floor.

We had a fantastic couple of days and didn't want to come home.

Absolutely spotless and everything that you would need was there. It was lovely to have freshly baked cakes, prosecco, beer and milk as a welcome package when we arrived. Such a lovely touch. The hot tub and log fire beautiful (although a bit warm for the fire sadly) hot tub was well used. Thank you

It was all very clean and well prepped for our stay. Lovely surprise of cupcakes and drinkies for us adults too after our long journey :-) The hot tub was a lovely extra and we loved the balcony, every morning watching the wildlife and scenery. The cottage is really lovely a so cozy.

Stayed a week in the barn was beautiful lovely surroundings nice and quite the barn was lovely and clean and finished to a very high standard close to most places so was nice to visit the different places, would defiantly go back i have also recommended it to family and friends

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate a birthday.

It was easily the best place we have ever stayed! Everything was so clean, the decor was so luxurious but homely, the location was perfect and we were welcomed by home baked cakes and drinks, which made us even more happy. We loved the balcony, we sat there every morning and evening just enjoying the wildlife. The hot tub was another bonus. We were not far from national trust nature walks and the town centre, where we went for meals. We can’t recommend Lugg View enough! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and it was faultless.

The property is of a very high standard with everything you need. The setting is peaceful and the hot tub is great. Our boys enjoyed it very much. The balcony is a nice bonus and you can see lots of animals in the evening. The welcome cakes and drinks were v much appreciated. Highly recommend.

The owners have made this property to a high standard and the weekend was so nice lovely views I would highly recommend because soon as we can we will rebook for next year but for a week the grounds are so nice as well thanks to the owners for a lovely holiday

We loved everything about our stay, no complaints just a couple of minor suggestions.

We planned a couple of meals and struggled without a cheese grater and a potato masher. And that’s it. The hot tub was amazing the rooms were very clean. Property lovely and warm. Netflix is a great touch too and should maybe be mentioned. It really helped keeping our daughter entertained which shouldn’t be underestimated!.

A very comfortable and well thought out accommodation.

The very friendly hosts provided some lovely welcome gifts plus basic items such as milk and bread. The barn has been fitted out to a very high standard and although near a main road was very quiet. The hot tub is very welcome at the end of a days walking and was very relaxing. A few more items of crockery wouldn’t go amiss though, to save keep washing items up. (There is a very nearby pub but unfortunately it doesn’t do food, only opens between Wed. and Sun. and only accepts cash. Well worth a visit though and the beer is good)

Lugg view is absolutely brilliant, no complaints whatsoever.

Where do I start?

Everything was perfect with Lugg View, we’ve stayed in lots of different accommodation with Sykes and this was definitely the best. It’s the first time in a long while that we’ve both felt totally relaxed. The accommodation is fantastic, immaculately clean and has everything you could want, they’ve thought of everything. It’s designed brilliantly, with the living area upstairs, we sat on the balcony and ate breakfast looking out at the fields. The hot tub is massive and again immaculate. The communal gardens are well kept and although we didn’t use the communal bbq I can imagine it would be lovely. Jarrod was on hand throughout and recommended some fab places to eat and take the children, nothing was too much trouble. We were very sad when the week was over! We loved it that much that we’ve booked to go back again and we’ve booked the other units for family too!

An amazing family staycation at the Lugg View.

The cottage was in exceptional condition with every detail thought of for guests and little treats for us from the owners. Location was great and close enough to the town. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back again.

Lovely property, spotlessly clean, modern and stylish furnishings, also with a good sized hot tub that easily accommodated the 4 of us.

We had some tasty treats and handy essentials awaiting our arrival, which was a lovely touch. Beds are nice and comfortable. Can recommend the walk at Credenhill Wood fairly nearby, that is mentioned in the information provided. And the centre of Hereford is just a 10 min drive away, with plenty of places to eat. A little closer is the Crown & Anchor that had lovely Sunday lunch. Lovely week had by all, highly recommended.

Was truly a fabulous stay.

Very luxurious and even had that extra personal touch with the fridge stocked with milk, jam, and orange juice. There was fresh bread and delicious homemade cupcakes. Place well taken care of and outdoor Jacuzzi cleaned every day. Highly recommended.

We had a nice stay, the accommodation is well equipped there could be a few things that could improve it.

We were not happy with the fact that the fields in the photos are not in fact for our use and the bbq is communal which is not properly advertised. The “garden” shown in the photos is a bit mis-leading due to the divider from the balcony not being shown and the fields are private property. The dog next door seems to bark at all times and kept waking us up which was not great. We also had a lot of bugs around which put us off slightly even if we were sat inside with the balcony door open. The front door is not easy to unlock at all, we all struggled as it seems to be jammed and not easy to use. There could be a kettle to make it a bit easier too however It was a nice stay and the hot tub was clean.
