“Main concern shower had mouldy grouting and door runners we really dirty.”

Not enough info in folder, no instructions re microwave and cooker. Kitchen doors, glossy black which not cleaned properly, when sun shone it showed. no info in file as to operate under floor heating. 1 toilet roll for 2 people insufficient and no washing up liquid. Luckily we had brought our own. Its a lovely cottage but as we have stayed in several Sykes cottages and never had any issues. About the location

SUCKLEY

Malvern 6.5 miles; Ledbury 11.5 miles; Worcester 12.5 miles; Upton-upon-Severn 13.5 miles; Hereford 19.5 miles.

The scattered village of Suckley is surrounded by unspoilt Worcestershire countryside, very close to the border with Herefordshire and has a thriving village shop, Post Office and two pubs. The area boasts many lovely walks with the Worcestshire Way running through the village and the Three Choirs Way close by. Just a short drive away is the beautiful Worcestershire town of Great Malvern which dates back to the Bronze Age and is situated on the eastern side of the dramatic Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hills form a 9-mile range of ancient rock, which offers 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and long distance views in all directions. The town holds antiques fairs, WI country markets, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. Also the Malvern Theatre welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Fishing and river cruises are available nearby and there are National Trust properties, gardens and vineyards to visit in the area. Malvern has many individual shops, cafés, art galleries and restaurants, as well as a luxurious spa, and is also just a short drive from the Three Counties Showground. The pretty country town of Upton-upon-Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn and boasts a variety of delightful 17th century buildings and attractive shops, including 'The Pudding Shop', along with traditional inns, cafés and its very own museum. It also plays host to many annual festivals, including Jazz, Folk and Blues Festivals, as well as the Sunshine Music Festival. This thriving small town has its own marina, a vineyard and well-stocked farm shop at the local fruit farm. Nearby Bromyard has an air of timelessness with many half-timbered buildings, helping visitors relax amongst a good range of pubs, restaurants and shops. Visit Ledbury with its stunning 17th century Market House and Ledbury Park, one of the finest Black and White buildings in the country, the Mappi Mundi and Chained Library in Hereford and the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.
