The property

Gorsley 1.5 miles. The Old Cart Shed at Two Parks Farm is a pleasing countryside retreat tucked away near the Wye Valley National Landscape near Gorsley, Herefordshire.

With off-road parking for two vehicles, this single-storey cottage offers couples a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature in a setting that feels both secluded and welcoming. Step through the door and into a space where exposed wooden beams and a high vaulted ceiling create a sense of rustic charm and openness.

The kitchen, with its tiled floor and wooden finishes, invites you to start your day at the breakfast bar—perhaps sharing a quiet moment over coffee as the morning sun spills in.

Later, the dining table becomes a place to gather for a relaxed evening meal, bathed in the soft glow of the cottage lights as the countryside settles into dusk. The sitting area, furnished with an armchair and sofa, offers a gentle invitation to unwind—whether you're watching a favourite film, diving into a good book, or simply enjoying the stillness that surrounds you. As night falls, the bedroom provides a calm and restful space, where soft textures and muted tones encourage deep sleep.

In the en-suite, the walk-in shower offers a soothing way to refresh—a moment to let the warmth ease you into relaxation before bed. Outside, the patio is a quiet corner to greet the day or reflect in the evening, surrounded by birdsong and the gentle rhythm of rural life.

It’s a place where time slows, and the everyday fades into the background. Beyond the cottage, the Wye Valley offers a wealth of discoveries.

Wander through the ancient woodland of Puzzlewood, marvel at the grandeur of Gloucester Cathedral, or explore the historic walls of Goodrich Castle.

With so much to uncover nearby, a stay at The Old Cart Shed becomes more than a holiday—it’s a chance to experience Herefordshire at its most enchanting.
