    “Just like the picture which was perfect.”

    Never felt so at with nature and every morning brought something different. Other groups were present during our stay but couldn’t hear much from them which was as perfect. Though the experience was top, there could be a few things done to make the experience even better: 1. Address the issue with the closing of front door. Did have to slam door to properly close / lock. 2. A few sharp areas of the decking where knots have loosened / fallen off leaving sharp points. 3. Maybe some ...

Decking treatment / sand down etc… Just a few pointers to aid you going forward

Situated overlooking a peaceful lake and idyllic countryside near Clifton Upon Teme, Worcestershire is this fabulous, Alaskan-style cabin, Cedar Cabin.

Ideal for families and friends alike, this wonderful cabin offers a bubbling hot tub and warming log burning stove, making it the perfect break at any time of year.

On arrival at the cabin, park up and make your way into your tranquil home-from-home.

The open-plan living space boasts plenty of home comforts for your self-catered stay including a well-equipped kitchen with a gas oven and hob where you can rustle up tasty meals for your group to enjoy at the dining table for six, or breakfast bar for two.

From here, settle in to watch the TV as you sink into the sofa, or for that extra bit of relaxation, indulge in a good soak in the hot tub outside.

Externally, you will also find extra dining seating and a barbecue so you can take your meals alfresco in the warmer months; why not try your hand at angling for some specimen carp off the decking or lakeside?

When sleep calls, choose from two double bedrooms and one single bedroom to rest your head before another adventurous day of exploring, with each bed providing additional storage underneath to house your belongings.

Salford Court Farm

Settled within the wonderful countryside, resting besides a lovely lake are sheep with lambs, cows with carves and the farmers working the land.. Charming pods and cabins, all with ground-floor living and views of the lake. Each with a private garden area with a balcony, hot tub and furniture for soaking in the peaceful setting, these group of pods/cabins are an excellent base for a romantic escape to the rolling countryside of Clifton Upon Teme. Just paces away from a village store to stock up on fresh produce and two traditional pubs to get better acquainted with the culture, this is a fantastic location for a self-catering experience. The Alaskan-style cabins offer an open-plan living space with three bedrooms and all properties possess a shower room with a walk-in shower for a refreshing rinse in the morning. The pods are a studio-style layout, with a double bed in the corner of the space. All properties offer central heating; however, the cabins also provide a woodburning stove. All the beds can hold luggage underneath for moving around the properties with ease. All properties have access to a fantastic on-site fishing lake fully stocked with carp, perfect for keen anglers. The group lies next to the Shelsley Walsh Hill, a historic hill climb that offers superb views of the area, along with being perfect for the motor enthusiasts of the group as it is the oldest motorsport venue in the world to still run events! The group is also within easy reach of fascinations attractions, including the Italianate mansion of Witley Hall, resting in the village of Great Witley and the vibrant city of Worcester, where you can explore the magnificent Cathedral, which overlooks the River Severn, feel inspired at the diverse exhibitions at The Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum or enjoy learning at Tudor House Museum. Don’t forget to make a stop at Ludlow, home to the fascinating 11th-century Ludlow Castle and Ludlow Museum, ideal for exploring the towns rich history. There a plenty more market towns within the area, including Tenbury Wells, home to the fascinating Tenbury Museum, as well as Great Malvern, a town bordering onto an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and home to plenty of activities for all the family.

Clifton upon Teme is an attractive village, named after the River Teme, which the village overlooks and is a fantastic example of an Anglo-Saxon settlement with its ancient buildings. Home to a village shop, village hall, a parish church and two traditional pubs serving home-cooked meals along with its rich history of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, as well as its beautiful countryside setting, this village is a great place for outdoor walkers and history explorers. The delightful village of Great Witley is within easy reach with its stunning ruins of Witley Court for a fascinating trip into history.
