“We had such a wonderful stay at Shires End, and it’s hard to put into words just how special this place is.”

From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make our visit memorable, with thoughtful touches and surprises to celebrate my partner’s birthday – it truly felt like we’d stepped into a different world. The attention to detail in the hobbit house is absolutely magical. Every corner is filled with little nods to the hobbit and The Lord of the Rings – from the stunning outside to the cosy, rustic interiors that make you feel like you’re in the Shire itself. There are books, maps, and trinkets all inspired by Tolkien’s world, and we found ourselves completely immersed in the experience. The design of the house is so carefully thought out, with round windows, and beautifully furniture that adds so much character. It’s clear the hosts are passionate about creating a truly authentic and enchanting space. The facilities were fantastic too – a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a super comfortable bed that made it so hard to leave! We especially loved the outdoor area, seating space, and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. We were blown away by how much effort has gone into creating Shires End. If you’re a fan of The Lord of the Rings and the hobbit or just want to experience a truly unique and magical stay, we couldn’t recommend this place enough!
