The Hive was such a good find - we stayed in the apartment and ate in the cafe. Both were excellent!
Spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable apartment where attention to detail is evident. Absolutely everything has been thought of - from the electric remotely operated skylights, to every conceivable kitchen item, plenty of crockery, glasses etc so no need to keep washing up/putting dishwasher on, lovely white company bed linen and towels, smart TV with soundbar, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and so on.
The cafe downstairs was the best we ate in throughout our week in the area (and we tried a few!). Deserving of it's obviously good reputation, made evident by the number of people in for weekend brunch. Lives up to it's name with the 'buzz' of people enjoying food from the exceptionally good menu.
Super friendly owners and staff who were not flustered at all by the busy-ness of the cafe - patient, attentive, efficient service.
I highly recommend the Hive for food and/or accommodation.
