“Spacious two bed accommodation, with everything we needed for a family stay near the Forest of Dean.”

Nice to have the garden for the Sunny days we were lucky to have. Generous parking, with easy access. The bike shed was a useful feature, with space for 3x bikes, depending on sizes. Worth bringing a padlock to lock this from the outside. We didn’t have one with us, but had the bikes locked to each other inside, which did the trick. If you are looking to stay here to explore the Forest from the front door, please note that the accommodation is one side of a valley, with the Forest on the other. So, there is a climb to the Forest and back up to the accommodation after. Not a problem for me, but would have been too tiring for my son and wife. Therefore we stuck the bikes back on the car and parked up at Beechenhurst, which is a great spot with nice walks, trails and a cafe. During our stay we also visited Gloucester and visited the Gloucester and Regiment museums. Dropped in to Clearwell Caves, which was something different. Then explored Chepstow Castle (free for English Heritage members) and also Goodrich Castle.

Glad you were lucky to enjoy the garden. South facing makes it very nice for sunny days. We will definitely look at adding padlock for the bike shed. Thank you for the feedback and look forward t having you back at the property. Property Owner
