“We had a lovely time at gardeners cottage, it’s in a very small village but there are footpaths close by for dog walks.”

The garden is huge, my tiny toy poodle was so happy running around and chasing balls all day. The only downside was that we couldn’t let her out of our sight as it’s not enclosed which was a shame, and she loves to run off and explore. There are towns & attractions close by so we didn’t have long drives each day, Bourton on the water is our favourite place & has plenty of parking. The cottage was lovely & clean, the kitchen is lovely but lacks a microwave, although I can see that there is no space for one. The lounge is very cosy & great for chilling in the evenings to watch tv, but we found that there are very few channels available on live tv so you do need your Netflix/amazon accounts (as per other guests feedback) also the WiFi isn’t great in some areas of the cottage. If you do need to use the WiFi, the best reception seems to be in the snug or the lounge. We also found that when using the shower upstairs the floor got quite wet, it seemed to be coming from behind the toilet, so water must be leaking through somewhere. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book this cottage again.
