“Three of us enjoyed a very relaxing holiday in Elm Lodge & the surrounding area - beautiful!”
The lodge is in a very peaceful setting hidden from the Glasshouse Inn that it sits in the grounds of.
The pub itself it’s definitely worth a visit. Its like stepping back in time with so much to look at - walls & furniture that have many tales to tell.
The food is lovely, offering a modern menu choice. You just need to check on the opening times as they are limited.
The lodge was nicely presented, with a great open plan living area.
The twin room is on the darker side of the lodge but everywhere else is light & bright.
There are picnic benches on the grass banking looking over the fields. From here the sun can be enjoyed all day. The decking area has furniture also, but is shaded with glimmers of sunshine.
We were lucky to have had a lovely week of weather.
Alison was on hand to rectify an issue that arose & all was well for the rest of our week away. Thank you
