It was ideally placed for us to explore some of the surrounding countryside and Cheltenham. It is also conveniently situated for Cam & Dursley Railway Station, less than 10 minutes drive away. We came with two dogs. The immediate vicinity was not ideal for them as, though the garden is secure, it is made up of concrete, gravel and astroturf and the grass verge outside is right on the roadside. Fortunately, there are nearby countryside walks better suited to walking dogs: we went to Newark Park and walked up to the William Tyndale Monument, both near Wotton-Under-Edge.
