“Extremely clean and well presented great facilities and it was like a home from home .”

It was so peaceful and we felt very welcome to stay there by the owners who appeared very approachable and friendly without being over bearing.Great information book on what was near by and it was lovely to read there book on the renovations to the farm .Thank you both .

“We enjoyed our stay immensely at The Cow Shed.”

The cottage was clean, well equipped & very comfortable. The property is located in the grounds of Graham & Pam's farm. We only met Pam, but she was very kind & helpful, & it was also lovely to meet their friendly Labrador, Tia. The only negative part of our stay were the steps down to the Cow Shed from the parking area. They make it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues, but there is no mention of this in the Sykes listing for the property. A big error on their part. It would be a great help if some sort of hand rail was installed from the top of the steps all the way down to the cottage itself in the future.

When they listed the property, Manor Cottages' view was that the photos were sufficient to show the path and steps but we have now asked that they also add a note in the description which they have done. “The Cow Shed is a beautiful property, we had a 2 night stay with our dog.”

It was very clean, comfortable and renovated to a high standard. I suffer with sciatica, I often return home with back ache from sitting on an uncomfortable sofa, or sleeping on a cheap mattress, that was not a problem after staying here. It really felt like a home from home. We loved looking through the picture book of the renovation work. It's a lovely touch, guests can see the work that has taken place over the past 3 years. We have already recommended this property to friends and would definitely stay again.

“This is a superb holiday property, well equipped and very clean.”

I have just one suggestion, it should be mentioned in the description that the entrance to the property is down a steep shingled slope and steps which is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. A handrail would make it safer. Apart from this it was perfect.
