    “We had a wonderful stay here over Christmas.”

    The cottage is clean, warm, comfy and well-equipped, and was beautifully decorated for the season. It is very spacious and also very private despite being part of the larger house. Our dog loved the walled garden at the front, which was completely secure for him. The area is beautiful with some lovely walks around Chedworth and the nearby villages, and it was easy to visit family in Cheltenham just 20 minutes away. We cannot fault it - highly recommended.

This lovely, charming jewel is tucked away on the banks of the River Coln in the heart of the Cotswold hills, surrounded by farms and close-by woodlands.

You'll discover a truly remarkable home once you're inside, a thoughtfully renovated and contemporary stable building that is decorated with high-end furnishings and textiles.

The thoughtful details all through are friendly to a couple as well as for a family.

You can still see the original beams and details, which serve as a reminder of the majestic old manor's past.

The very high-end shaker-style kitchen and dining area downstairs is the ideal space for entertaining and relaxing.

The living area, two luxurious bedrooms, and bathroom are located upstairs.

all with unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.

You couldn't be more perfectly situated for a weekend or holiday getaway to the Cotswolds.

With endless walking opportunities right outside your door, your dog is also welcome.

As far as Cotswold cottages go, this is outstanding!

About the location

NORTHLEACH

Bourton on the water 5.5 miles; Stow-on-the-wold 9.1 miles;

Northleach is just off the Roman road, the Fosse Way (A429) 8 miles north-east of Cirencester and 10 miles south-west of Stow-on-the-Wold, and about 7 miles from Burford - making it an excellent place to travel from if you're looking to visit these popular and attractive places. Northleach was at one time an important market town, celebrated throughout Europe as a major centre for the Cotswold wool trade! The fifteenth-century church of St Peter and St Paul, paid for by the wealthy wool merchants, was built with stone dug from the quarry in the town itself and what is now the Market Square. More recently the village has been used in a number of recent films, including the Casual Vacancy of 2015.
