A comfortable well equipped cottage in a great location with the added benefit of its own parking space.

There are 3 bathrooms but only the en suite in the master bedroom has a walk in shower - a second shower would make Rosemary Cottage the perfect accommodation.

Enjoyable as last time.

The skirting under dishwasher needs fixing properly so as it doesn’t keep falling off. Water pressure in shower could be better but didn’t detract from stay Thank you very much Regards R Jansons

Rosemary cottage is a gem.

It is close to the centre of Bourton on the Water with its many interesting and unusual shops and great eateries, in that delightful Cotswold town. There are many tourists even in darkest February, so to have two parking spaces is a great bonus! The accommodation is comfortable, clean, warm and with many extras. We'd happily stay there again.

The cottage is so comfortable, clean, and well appointed it was like staying in our own home. The location is perfect and Bourton-On-The-Water is a lovely village.

It’s very quiet and relaxing. Only 5minute walk into all the eateries for a meal in the evenings. Would highly recommend this property!

The house itself is nice and spacious, with plenty of games and books to enjoy, which is a lovely touch.

However, it feels like it hasn’t been renovated in quite some time and could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The leather sofas had covers that looked more like rugs or bath mats, which made sitting on them a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom: There’s only one proper shower in the ensuite, though the first-floor bathroom has a shower head as well. Unfortunately, there’s no shower curtain, and the shower head is quite worn, so the water tends to spray everywhere except where it should. Kitchen: We understand the water in the area is hard, but the state of the kettle was disappointing — it was full of limescale and rattled like a maraca when boiling. The spare kettle wasn’t any better. We tried cleaning and soaking them, but it didn’t help. The washing machine detergent compartment was also covered in mould, which made us hesitant to use it. Overall, the house has potential and offers good space and entertainment, but the lack of maintenance and cleanliness really let the experience down.

Just had a fantastic week at Rosemary Cottage.

Accommodation was everything we hoped for. Lovely and clean, very comfortable and roomy and having a choice of parking was very handy. The location is perfect. Several quality restaurants 5 minutes walk away, which was great for the evenings, and loads of coffee and tea rooms for daytimes. The village is so picturesque as was all the other Cotswolds villages we visited. Will definitely be revisiting at some point.

Wonderful cottage perfect location.

2 parking spaces were ideal. Having a downstairs toilet was great for my elderly parents. Will definitely stay at this beautiful cottage again.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location!

A short 2/3 minute walk to the centre of the village and easy access to local attractions. Cottage had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Great communication with the owner, both before and during our stay. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Off road parking was a bonus. Owners made contact a couple of times and were very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Great stay at Rosemary Cottage, very spacious and comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds nice little sun trap in the garden with outdoor furniture, fabulous location with literally a 3 minute walk to the beautiful town with plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, also has the added bonus of 2 car park spaces, great communication from the owners too, would definitely re-book if back to Bourton-on-the-Water

A lovely cottage, very clean, well equipped and comfortable.

Ideally situated in a very quiet location but only 5 minutes gentle stroll to the centre of the village. Excellent communication with Sheila [the owner]. We look forward to returning for another holiday in Rosemary Cottage.

It is clean, comfortable, and just a two minute walk to the centre of town. We stayed for a month with three children and it had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Rosemary Cottage was fantastic for my family to enjoy the beautiful village of Bourton on the water , any issues ie heating were easily explained and I cannot fault the owner as Shiela made sure we had everything we needed .

Rosemary Cottage is a lovely comfy, homely and spacious cottage which has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay.

Facilities are exceptional with every bedroom having its own bathroom or ensuite and television. It was nice to have a sitting out area in the courtyard outside as well as parking for two cars. The cottage is situated in a perfect location with only a 3/4 minute walk to the High Street and ideal for sitting by the river watching the world go by or exploring the shops. Plenty to do in Bourton-on-Water with transport and toy museum, birdland and the model village as well as other lovely villages nearby to travel to if you wish. Good communication with the owners who are so helpful and I would thoroughly recommend this holiday cottage.

The property was perfect and far more spacious than the pictures show.

Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well provisioned, we didn't want for anything, including a set of scales when we decided to make pancakes on a whim! The location is perfect for a central stay in Bourton and the 2 parking spaces made it so very easy to pop out for day trips without worrying about finding parking when we returned. The location is peaceful despite being so close to the centre of the town. The communication we had via Sykes and particularly the owners was fantastic, plenty of information beforehand and very quick and happy to respond to the few queries we had before and after arriving. The box of chocs left for us was a definite bonus and hugely appreciated by my daughter. All in all I would happily recommend this property.

The cottage is exceptional.

It is located in a very convenient area that every part of the picturesque village Bourton-on-the Water could be reached within 5 minutes walk. The facilities are amazing, neighborhood is quite and beautiful and the owners are very kind and make you feel at home. Definitely will stay at this cottage if I visited the area in the future and will recommend it to friends.

A beautiful home from home very close to the centre with good parking.

Minutes from the busy picturesque little river but with a quiet garden to return to. The owners are personally in contact via email before, during and after the holiday. I liased with the owner Sheila about a couple of things by email. She answered quickly, efficiently and personally. We would highly recommend Rosemary Cottage and are looking forward to returning.

The cottage was well equipped, very clean and comfortable.

The beds were very comfortable. A bathroom for every bedroom wow! It made a change to have a bath every day, the baths filled very quickly and water was lovely and hot. The garden was a real sun trap, it was nice sitting out there. The cottage was in an amazing position, lovely and quiet, but just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Good shops locally and some great walks.

Very comfortable and well equipped.

Very convenient location with parking (is necessary!). We enjoyed the patio, being private outdoors. Excellent area to visit gardens, and explore walks, village etc.. No need to bring oven gloves and tea towel as told. I'm not keen on the loose covers on furniture or so many plastic flowers! Recycling confusing but that's council not owner!

Rosemary Cottage is very well positioned for all amenities in Bourton on the Water and also for visiting the many villages in the Cotswolds as well as larger towns like Oxford and Cheltenham.

The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Rosemary cottage was in a perfect location and provided us with a good base for our holiday.

There are a couple of things I think the owners could improve on to make it more in line with similar properties of a similar price ( the standard for holiday cottages in general is now much higher than it was ten years ago ). Firstly, invest in installing separate shower cubicles in the two bathrooms currently only with showers. Secondly, buy new easy clean settees armchairs etc for the lounge. Thank you

This is a spacious beautiful cottage set in an amazing location, it’s well equipped, very comfortable and homely, everything was very clean and useable, very happy with our choice and would stay again

A lovely comfortable cottage which was very conveniently located being only a few minutes walk right into the heart of Bourton on the Water.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The master bedroom suite was well laid out with a walk in wardrobe and en-suite and a very comfortable bed. The three bathrooms meant that everyone had there own. The only observation I would have is that there is only one shower, which is in the master bedroom en-suite, as the other bathrooms only had baths and so it was not convenient for showering in the morning. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rosemary Cottage and would definitely stay there again.

The cottage has every facility you could want.

it is ideally situated close to the town centre within easy walking distance. Easily large enough for family groups, plenty of space to relax. Best of all it has 2 allocated parking spaces.

Lovely spacious house in the heart of Bourton on the Water.

This is the 2nd time we have been to this house and we'll definitely be back.

Rosemary Cottage is a comfortable, clean, well-appointed house, set in a quiet area ideally placed for the High Street shops,restaurants and amenities.

Bourton-on-the-Water is an idyllic part of the Cotswolds and convenient for visiting other notable places nearby.

The only minute fault was the covers on the suite.

These were loose and not fitted so spent most of the week on the floor or screwed up the back of chairs as impossible to keep in place.

Being so close to all the amenities.

You didn't even need to get your car out if you didn't want to. The cottage was the type of place I wouldn't mind living in myself.

All very positive except bedding was too hot for this time of year.

Well equipped property in a perfect location

our first time at Rosemary Cottage, found it to be very clean and comfortable, only slight niggle was the lighting was poor, and perhaps could do with a couple of reading lamps by fireplace, and behind settee.

Beds very comfortable which is a big plus, also the parking facility which is a bonus especially in Bourton. Overall very happy with the cottage, and plan to return in 2017.

Very clean cottage ,beds comfy.

Found the covers on the sofas and armchair an absolute pain.The furniture is lovely you cover it because of the type of leather which is probably not practical for holiday accommodation.Would also have liked hand towels or advised to bring our own.Mostly this was a lovely cottage in an excellent position so anybody who visits should be very pleased.
