Absolutely wonderful cottage, very welcoming and beautifully decorated, very comfortable and has everything you need.

Nicky was very helpful & we had a wonderful stay.

One of the best Christmas’s ever in this lovely cosy cottage.

Nicky’s attention to detail was second none. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely half term holiday with our 3 teenagers and 2 dogs at Puffits cottage.

Nicky is friendly & helpful, and gave us lots of useful info about everything local. The cottage is great if you have dogs, with an enclosed garden, and walks straight from the door, plus a useful utility room to clean any muddy paws.. Also our two loved lying by the fire on an evening! The cottage is really clean, and well looked after, with lots of thoughtful touches such as the welcome hamper- including some treats for the dogs. We would love to return next time we visit The Cotswolds.

PUFFITTS COTTAGE - Is certainly a quintessential ‘Cotswold’ cottage oozing character & charm, but what lies within the thick honey coloured limestone walls is a cosy, comfortable & tastefully decorated ‘home from home’ which has been lovingly furnished with attention to detail, & is by far the best equipped holiday rental I have ever stayed in.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful village & superb facilities of Bourton on the Water, & only a short drive to explore the stunning countryside & surrounding historical towns & villages of the Cotswolds. Thank you Nicky x

We had a lovely stay, open plan lounge and kitchen was very spacious and comfy.

The downstairs bedroom and shower room were ideal for mum. Double and king upstairs bedrooms were very comfy, we all slept very well. Loved all the quirky features of the cottage, excellent accommodation. Lovely areas to relax or eat outside in the back garden, or enjoy a morning coffee in the front garden with the sun on you. We were greeted with a welcome hamper of treats on our arrival and Nicky checked via text we were all ok and made sure we didn’t need for anything.

The cottage is lovely with lots of personal touches and the parking was a huge bonus. Nicky is a great host and the welcome hamper awaiting us (and our dog Betty) was amazing.

Puffits cottage is a beautiful property.

It is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a lovely garden where you can dine al fresco in nice weather. Nicky was a super helpful host.

Beautiful dog friendly cottage in an excellent location.

The cottage is spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. The downstairs bedroom with an en-suite shower room is a real bonus. Lovely private garden ideal for sitting in with a morning coffee or an evening drink. Bourton on the water is the perfect base for visiting the Cotswolds.

A very lovely cottage in a great location.

Parking and a garden are both good points. The bedrooms were very comfortable and a good sized bathroom and shower. The furniture in the living room was very nice but a bit uncomfortable. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and much appreciated and the owner is very nice and very approachable. We had one small issue with the outside tap but this was sorted out straight away. We would recommend this cottage to other people.

Lovely cottage, quiet position, all well equipped and maintained.

Garden dog friendly. cottage located sixty steps from great pub doing fabulous evening meals and full english breakfasts, ( we did not cook!). The fact that you can walk over the road and go a nice walk along the windrush river is a big bonus.

It was beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly visit again. The hamper on arrival was a lovely touch.

Had a wonderful week staying at the picturesque Puffitts Cottage.

The cottage is ideally situated, just a short walk into the centre of Bourton and has parking for two cars, which was very convenient. The cottage was clean, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. and we made the most of the log burner on the wet, cooler days. A welcome basket was a lovely gesture and contained goodies to suit everyone. Nicky, the owner, was so helpful and once she had answered our queries, left us to enjoy our holiday. Our beds were so comfortable and all of us slept very well from the first night. We will definitely be happy to return to Puffitts when we visit the Cotswolds again and strongly recommend the cottage for an enjoyable stay.

This was our second stay at Puffits and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

It is spacious clean and well looked after. It’s decorated beautifully with lots of finishing touches. It doesn’t feel like a holiday let but a loved home. The bed and pillows are comfy and the bathroom spacious with a lovely bath. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. The kitchen is large and is well equipped. The utility area and downstairs toilet also very handy. The back garden is a good size and secure for our dog. Plenty of furniture for sitting out. The front garden also now has a gate so we were able to sit out there with our dog too. Nicky, the owner obviously loves her cottage, and was very helpful giving us lots of info before we arrived and checking in with us that everything was good for us. The cottage is in a perfect location, just a 10minute walk along the river to get to Bourton which is beautiful with lots of shops and cafes. You could do some good walks from the cottage with a large field at the back for exercising dogs Also central for exploring the Cotswolds. We look forward to staying at Puffits again in the future.

Puffitts Cottage is clean, welcoming, stylish and very comfortable.

Everything you need is provided and there are wonderful personal touches even including high quality gifts and treats for our dogs in little bags labelled with their names. Attention to detail is everywhere, little torches in the bedrooms, chocolates and wine on arrival and clear communication with the kind and helpful owner Nicky. The location is particularly convenient being a short stroll from the shops and restaurants. I would recommend Puffitts Cottage without reservation.

This was our second stay at Puffits Cottage.

It has everything you need and more. Very comfortable and really lovely decor. Just on the edge of the village so quiet but only five minutes walk to the lovely shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. A fantastic place to stay and use as your base for visits around the Cotswolds. Brilliant communication both before and during our stay with the owner. We could not have felt more welcome, such a relaxing time it felt like a home from home cannot recommend it more highly.

Beautiful cottage, only a couple of minutes walk from the village centre.

Very well equipped, extremely clean and the added bonus of having excellent parking. Nicky the owner, was very helpful before and during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend Puffitts Cottage.

The cottage is warm & cosy, a bit of home from home, in an excellent location 5 minutes walk into Bourton on the water, will lots of pubs, restaurants & coffee shops.

It has all the equipment you’ll need, We had 2 Golden Retrievers with us so the 2 vaccum cleaners were needed daily! The owner was on hand at all times if needed and responded immediately to any queries.

This was a beautiful cottage in an excellent location to explore the Cotswolds.

The owner was really helpful and the welcome basket was a lovely touch after a long journey. The cottage was really well equipped only feedback would be that it was so well equipped there was no cupboard space to put the food we had bought. The cottage was easy to use and things were easy to find as things were well labelled and explained in the book. The dog was safe in the garden and loved the beautiful stone floor tiles in the kitchen in the hot weather. We had a really lovely week Thank you Esther

An absolutely delightful little cottage with so many homely touches throughout and very dog friendly.

A fantastic welcome pack, including a welcome pack for our dog, was very much appreciated. Nicky was on hand if we needed anything or had any questions. The aspect of the cottage was brilliant being just a five minute walk from the centre of the village and the locals were very friendly. We visited some lovely places during our stay and I have no hesitation in recommending Puffitts Cottage for a lovely break. We hope to return again ourselves!

Puffitts cottage was more than we expected.

Everything you would need is provided to make you feel comfortable, a home from home. Cleanliness and maintenance was to a high standard. We went for Christmas and the cottage was decorated to put you in the festive spirit. Welcome pack was plentiful and a wonderful surprise. Shops, pubs and Tea rooms right on your door step. Nicky (the owner) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for us to make our experience staying in her cottage a great one. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend would be for selfish reasons so that it would always be available for our return. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

It is a well furnished property and Nicky the hostess has set up a wonderful fully equipped kitchen with all amenities.

She was very helpful. The place is walking distance from the town centre of Burton on the water. In a bout 20 minute drive radius there are lots of beautiful Cotswold walks and Roman villas, Towers , chipoing camden etc . It was a wonderful stay for us to see Cotswold !! Highly recommended

The cottage was excellent decorated with a mix of modern, old and up cycled that worked really well together. This is a great cottage ideally placed to walk into Bourton on the Water. Extremely clean in all areas. Highly recommend Thanks Nicky

The cottage was beautifully decorated and spacious with an enclosed back garden with patio area and grass area, perfect for our dog.

There was also a front garden which also had a patio table and chairs to sit and watch the birds feeding on the feeder. It was well equipped with everything we could possibly need and clean and tidy. The cottage is well situated in the village , being just outside the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk into the shops and cafes by walking along by the river away from the road, taking about 10 minutes. The owner was very helpful before our arrival and keen to know we were happy with everything when we arrived. We cannot rate this cottage highly enough, easily the best we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend it .

The family and I felt right at home, even getting the chance to meet and chat to some of the lovely neighbours. We felt very well looked after also with the owner providing some delicious welcome treats and essentials, and being very easy to contact when needed.

If you want a really tranquil stay in a cottage just a short stroll from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water then Puffitts Cottage is the one for you.

The cottage was very pleasant and comfortable and with easy access to Bourton (less than 5 min walk) so great for meals and drinks.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Puffitts cottage.

It is attractively furbished and has everything you could possibly need in the well appointed kitchen. I had my two dogs with me and the back garden was ideal as it was fully enclosed so I was able to let the dogs out without worrying about them. Bourton on the water is a very picturesque village. I recommend this cottage highly.

Lovely stroll into Bourton, brilliant pub a few doors down, every one we met was so friendly. Ideal walking for our dogs, several walks from the cottage and we were luckily enough to have some sunny weather to make use of the back gardent in the evenings whilst enjoying a chilled glass!. Would definately recommend staying at Puffitts Cottage and hope to return in the future.

We stayed at puffitts cottage over christmas, we were greeted with champagne and choclates.

..then bread milk butter and eggs which was a very nice surprise. It was decorated beautifuly too. The cottage had everything we needed to cook up our christmas meal. It was very clean and very comfy and only a few minutes walk into the town which is always a bonus. It was like home from home we will deffinetly be returning in the future.

The cottage is ideally located.

Just a few minutes walk from the village centre, right next door to a good pub/restaurant (The Mousetrap) and also close to some really good walks (best one we found was an 11 mile circular route through Lower Slaughter, Upper Slaugher and Naunton). Cottage was very comfortable with a great kitchen for cooking, although we also ate out and had take aways too during our stay. Ideal for dogs as the garden in the rear is quite large and fully enclosed. Bourton-on-the-Water is very pretty and has a fair number of pubs, restaurants and shops. Best find with the Bakery on the Water, which does amazing bread and traditional British cakes (iced buns, lardy cake, chelsea buns, etc). The owners were very helpful and dealt with one issue we had very quickly. One issue we had was finding the property as the directions from Sykes say it is on the right but is in fact on the left if approaching from the A429.

Puffitt's Cottage is a lovely place to stay.

The cottage is stunning, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Of our two weeks we only had one rainy day and the little wood burner made the cottage so cheerful! The cleaners had it sparkling for us when we arrived so it felt like home right away. Nicky was very kind and accommodating, we very much appreciated her generosity. The welcome pack was an added bonus we were not expecting. We came from Canada and therefore we had a lot of family and friends stop by for visits. I must say they all commented on how lovely the cottage was. Also it is in a very convenient spot, a short walk to the village attractions. Thank-you Sykes! Deborah

This cottage is perfect.

It is in an ideal location, just a few minutes walk into the town. It is very tastefully decorated and very much home from home. We had a lovely mini break and the dog enjoyed it too!
