A delightful detached former lock keeper's house, occupying a unique location at the entrance to the historic Gloucester Docks, where you will find many attractions including museums, restaurants, bars, shops, antiques and crafts centres and the Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet.

Gloucester city centre and the magnificent cathedral are just 5 minutes' walk away.

The beautiful Cotswolds lie to the east, while to the west is the Forest of Dean.

The historic towns of Bath and Stratford-upon-Avon are within an hour's drive.

This beautifully presented house offers cosy and relaxing accommodation and is ideally situated for exploring this interesting and varied part of the country.

In the historic waterfront city of Gloucester you will find Roman foundations, Victorian Docklands and a magnificent Norman Cathedral (whose cloisters were used as a location in the Harry Potter films) rubbing shoulders with a bustling city centre boasting an incredible range of shops, markets, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions. Gloucester is an ideal base for touring the Cotswolds and Forest of Dean, bursting with peaceful country walks and quaint villages, not to mention the regency town of Cheltenham, with its historic Georgian architecture and famous Gold Cup horse racing.
