Lovely little cottage for 2 (and their dogs!

)in a peaceful and welcoming location. The facilities in the cottage were good quality. The owners are very helpful and welcoming people and they create a relaxed feel to staying at their property. Although we did experience as initial issue with the shower waste pipe leaking water, they were straight in to this and it was sorted, so did not affect our enjoyment of our stay at all. We are hoping to return next year!

Well cottage is a perfect place to have a very relaxing holiday.

We had access to a large enclosed garden with mature trees, which was perfect for our 2 Labradors. It was very hot when we were there so we spent lazy afternoons reading our books in the garden while the dogs enjoyed the shade. It is perfectly placed to visit nearby Stow on the Wold, Daylesford, Blockley, Bourton on the Water. The accommodation is small but absolutely fine for the two of us and the dogs.

Location is great for exploring the Cotswolds. Cottage is on a family farm and it was nice to see and hear the sheep, horses, donkey & the owners two very friendly dogs. The owners David & Julie are lovely and have lots of local knowledge. We had a lovely few days here but had to cut it short due to illness. The Cotswold wildlife park is a great place to visit. So many pretty villages to explore, some make you feel like you have stepped back in time.

Very clean and stocked with everything that you would need. Hugely comfortable bed. Central to loads of villages to explore. Nice owners with a couple of very friendly well behaved dogs. Surrounded by fields with nice walks. Peaceful and relaxing.

What a fabulous place in a perfect location.

Well cottage is on a farm, it was lovely to meet the horses, sheep and dogs. We stayed for 4 nights and had the best time. The cottage was super cute and had everything. Lovely comfy bed and settee. The shower was great too. Watching the sunset on an evening surrounded by beautiful countryside. We enjoyed chatting to Julie and David about their wonderful house & farm. We would love to stay again and fully recommend this delightful place.

Well Cottage is a perfect place for a very relaxed break.

It is ideally placed for local walks and bike rides and accessible distance by car to many beautiful villages and towns. There are supermarkets a short drive away and it’s an hour’s brisk walk into Stow via footpaths for pubs etc. The cottage was spotless, light, bright compact and cosy with everything we needed. It was SO lovely and quiet, just birdsong, horses, sheep and cattle grazing nearby, with no road noise being truly off the beaten track. Julie and David were very pleasant and helpful. We stayed for a week and could happily have stayed for a month! Highly recommended.

Omg how friendly and lovely were the farm family that lived there, we only had a short stay but they made sure we were ok and had everything we needed, I absolutely loved the cottage,

We used this lovely, quiet and relatively remote holiday home as a base to visit many delightful villages, towns and beauty hotspots in the Cotswolds.

The property is a very comfortable well equipped hideaway in the grounds of a farm. We were met by the owner who presented us with a lovely jug of creamy milk for our first hot drink. All in all a lovely stay.

This is a lovely cottage, very friendly people, ideal for a dogs, fields to walk your dog in.

Would definitely go again.

Excellent cottage with nearby parking space.

We had stayed in the property last year and booked again as we and our dogs loved it so much. Everything perfect. Really appreciated the warm cottage as outside was rather cold in December. Very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Great TV and WiFi. Owners have dogs and friendly/approachable.

We had such a relaxing break at Well cottage, it’s the most perfect setting, so well positioned to explore the Cotswolds .

The cottage was difficult to find so we knew we had made the right choice.

Our stay was part of my wife’s birthday celebration and we were greeted with flowers and bubbly from the owners ( what a lovely gesture). We had the freedom to walk the dogs around the estate, often welcomed back by their dogs when we returned. The cottage was cozy and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would definitely recommend the cottage to our friends. Thank you.

Just returned from a weekend break at Well Cottage.

Superb just what we wanted. The cottage is lovely, clean has everything you want. The garden and fields surrounding the farm are great, we didn't need to put the dogs on leads to go out for a wee and they enjoyed meeting Julie and David's dogs Sidney and Sherba, who were so friendly. Ideal location to travel around the Cotswolds, we went to Morton Show on Saturday just 15 minutes up the road (just due to show traffic), which again was a treat. Julie and David so helpful and around to ask anything. Shame to leave yesterday but definitely will come again. Just one minor point the bedroom has a low beam being a cottage, so be prepared to bang your head if you forget its there(like hubby), but its a wonderful place to stay. Thank you David and Julie

We had a wonderful stay in Well Cottage at the end of July.

The location and property were just brilliant for myself and my husband and our two little dogs. So quiet and tranquil, the cottage had everything we needed. The property owner was fabulous!! Very welcoming and we enjoyed having chats and playing ball with the two farm dogs Sid and Sheba. In regards to the area.. it was perfect.. right in the middle of where we wanted to be. All in all we had a lovely relaxing and peaceful week. We truly will try and book again the next time we are in the area. Thank you Julie!!

Whist the cottage was snug it served us fine .

It was well equipped to include anything we wanted. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had anything we wanted. The cottage was located in a nice area and was very attractive. It was close to a number of places we wanted to see so that was great. All in all a good experience.

We had a last minute booking and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and surrounding areas.

A lovely thick walled cottage to very highest standards (indeed fully equipped) and dog friendly owners.

Located on a small farm with Christmas lights marking the way. It was dark when we arrived and this felt great. Hardstanding provided for car next to property. Complimentary tea, coffee,and some milk in the fridge helped us get warm and settled in. Mobile reception great and not far from local main roads to reach Cotswolds villages/towns. Large screen TVs with FreesSat and Apps. Very comfortable bed upstairs and slept well each night. Everything was perfect. Information pack suggested some local places to visit.

Loved Well Cottage!

Great, tucked away rural location and very central for exploring the Cotswold area. Excellent and helpful hosts who introduced us to their lovely 4 horses and 2 dogs! In so far as Sykes administration, the overall tone of emails regarding how to leave the cottage are over zealous. We would always leave a cottage in excellent condition and don’t need to be told/reminded on numerous occasions.

Had everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable. Appreciated the fenced garden to sit in and the larger area for the dogs to play in - plus nice walk along edge of fields.

The cottage was beautifuly located; Stow-on-the-wold, Moreton- in-marsh and Bourton-on-the-water are very close by.

Hiking or by car! At arrival we were welcomed by lovely dogs, horses, stunning cotswold views and very friendly owners. The cottage was cosy and spotless clean. If we get the chance we would definately come back!

Peaceful and in a good location to explore the surrounding area. Lovely to have the freedom to let our dogs roam around. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately consider a return visit.

We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the birdsong. The cottage was well equipped and we noticed it had a DVD player which was not listed on the description. The owners were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Broadway Tower, Snowshill Manor and gardens, Chastleton House, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre. Eating out is a little pricey, but we treated ourselves to really delicious meals at The Fox in Broadwell (which was in walking distance across the fields from the property) and The Horse and Groom in Oddington Village. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Well Cottage and hope to visit again sometime.

Comfortable, with all the facilities we needed. Good waking close by if you are taking a dog or like to walk. Hosts are really friendly and welcoming.

Very well laid out, cosy & comfortable property.

Everything we needed & very dog friendly. Centrally located for travelling around the area. Nice to meet & chat to the owners. Hopefully we will be rebooking. The only problem was the long unmade driveway up to the farm with potholes!

The cottage was as good if not better than described.

The lights and heating were on in the cottage for our arival. All rooms where very clean and had a very modern aperance, the si÷ of the cottage wàs more than ample for the two of us. I would recommend the cottage to all our friends
