Lovely bungalow, so quiet and peaceful.

Very clean and very good welcome pack to start our holiday. Well-situated for NT visits and easy access by bus to Bath and Chippenham. Enjoyed two meals at the Flemish Weavers pub. Have already booked next year and will recommend you to friends.

1A Erneston Crescent was a lovely, quiet escape.

Very well stocked on kitchen appliances and accessories. Clean and well kept throughout. Only a short walk to the town for shops, pubs and eateries. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The cottage is very clean and well maintained to a high standard.

We were able to enjoy the garden as the weather was lovely, even a little too hot at times but the parasol was very useful. The area is quiet and you can enjoy walks to the local shops and surrounding areas through the back gate of the garden. A wonderful welcome pack awaits you on arrival. Looking forward to visiting again

Dear Anne, Your property is so lovely.

Very clean, practical and the garden is great. Combined bath and show is handy. Kitchen is super and very extended. Reading in the garden or in the little veranda with a tea has been amazing. Area is quiet and close to shop. Only remark : would love to have two keys. For when someone goes to town, or to be sure that always one (me or my husband) has a key because the door closes automaticaly. Regards, Mieke

Everything you would ever need on a holiday. I have stayed in many different holiday homes and this is the best by far. This is why I chose this property as I have stayed in this one before. Keep up the high standards

We have stayed at this property numerous times, it is always tip top.

The owner even had a delivery of a light weight duvet and a bedspread for our comfort in the hot weather. Cannot fault the standard of comfort and a wonderful welcome pack. We thoroughly enjoyed the garden sitting outside for breakfast and coffee’s the parasol protecting us from the strong sun’s rays.

This is our second time staying at 1A and this stay just reinforced our impressions from our stay in Sep 2025.

There's just 2 of us and our small dog, perfect sized property for us. We were blessed with almost a full week of sunshine so we made the most of the lovely walks and amenities. I took a day trip into Bath on the bus, the stops are very close by. As usual, a lovely welcome basket was waiting for us, thanks so much for that, a sight for sore eyes after 6 hours driving! Highly recommended, we'll be booking again soon for a return trip

A very comfortable bungalow with every necessity (and more!

) catered for. A very convenient location for visiting villages, towns and properties on our hit list. A wealth of information is provided for loads of locations, walks and eating out and the owner was very proactive on pre holiday information. We had a lovely restful break and can completely recommend this property.

Lovely touch with the mini hamper and bottle of wine. Very clean and tidy. Would have loved to sit in the garden but wrong time of year. Short walk to town centre and shops. Lovely restaurants. Good bus service to Bath and Chippenham. Overall a very pleasant stay.

It's a really lovely property that's been furnished with love and care.

Everything was provided with a fully equipped kitchen. The unexpected extras like the orange juice, eggs and marmalade were lovely and happily consumed! Very quiet cul de sac in Corsham but a short walk took me into the town centre. Perfect combination.

We'd never been to the Wiltshere area of the UK before and spent a long time looking for a good base to settle ourselves into.

It's 2 of us and our small dog. After a lot of research, and i mean A LOT, Corsham seemed to be a good location and 1A Erneston looked ideal for us - and it was. The property is in a small cul-de-sac, the laneway in to it is narrow but plenty of passing points along the 150 yards or so but property location id a very quiet area overall. The property is single story with a lovely garden out back and a gravel drive out from which is perfect for one car. The property is well maintained inside and outside, you'll struggle to find better. 1A has everything you need for your stay if you plan to do any cooking or self catering. The welcome pack was huge, thanks so much Anne for that. In terms of location relative to amenities, it's less than 10 minutes walk to Corsham High Street and another 5 minutes will have you outside the amazing Corsham Court. There's a Co-Op and Londis nearby, lots of nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. Outside of having to drive going on day trips, the car barely left the driveway - everything you need is walking distance We genuinely loved it and the dog was very settled there, would recommend 1A Erneston highly - so much so, we booked it again straight away

Everything was great,quite location, could not ask for better.

We had a great stay at Erneston Crescent - it is a lovely, cosy, well-situated and well-appointed holiday home.

So close to lovely Corsham (look out for the peacocks - we even had one in the front garden one day!), Castle Combe, Bradford on Avon, Lacock and many more. Our dog especially loved the garden (watch out for cheeky visiting cats...) and close proximity to fields, a park, town and lots of interesting places to visit (and sniff) nearby. We had a warm welcome from the owner and a great welcome pack on arrival including delicious fresh farm eggs which were a real treat for breakfast on our first morning! If we had one gripe - and it's a minor one! - the bed wasn't especially comfortable, the mattress may be wearing a little thin, but it really did not detract from what was a wonderful week away. Ernest Crescent offered us a genuine home-from-home and we loved it.

1a Ernstone Crescent is a lovely, comfortable, well equipped bungalow, with a lovely secure garden .

It is perfectly located for a short walk to the shops , restaurants, pubs and bus stops (if needed). This was our 2nd stay and no doubt we will be back and be recommending to family and friends

One of the best organised cottages we have stayed in.

1a is compact but spacious. It has been well planned and everything you need has been thought about. It is well maintained and works. It is tucked away with a private garden and is very close to the centre of Corsham. The welcome pack was the best we have received at a cottage. We used every bit and enjoyed it all. The information was well laid out and helpful as were the leaflets. Not only well organised but also very comfortable and we would highly recommend it.

Home is exactly as described, everything is catered for with lots of good information provided, with a nice welcome pack.

Location to town very close but in a quiet street with friendly neighbours. Lots of good pubs and restaurants but also a great gateway to the many beautiful towns of the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day

Very comfortable, clean well equipped holiday home that is within a few minutes walk into Corsham yet situated down a quiet road.

We found the location ideal for visiting local villages and attractions and would recommend this property if visiting Wiltshire or Cotswolds.

A lovely warm and welcoming bungalow with an amazing welcome basket waiting on our arrival.

The property was immaculately clean, you would never know dogs were allowed to stay there, and everything we needed was provided for. The cleaner even came in halfway through our fortnight’s break to change the bed, towels and do a clean which we have never had before. The only thing to watch out for is the neighbours cat who tries to get in at every opportunity on arrival

Corsham was a wonderful little town, interesting independent shops, friendly people and corsham court with its fantastic art collection.

The bungalow was perfect for us as a base to explore nearby attractions including Tittesfield, Westonbirt arboretum, Salisbury and Bath is even easier with the direct bus. The house was clean, warm, spacious and well equipped. The beds wonderful comfortable. The owner even took the time to warn us of a temporary road works which might inconvenience us.

A lovely stay in a great location.

We received a detailed email from Anne before arrival so everything went smoothly there. The cottage was as described and fitted the bill perfectly. Our dog loved the secure garden. Anne responded quickly to a query about where we could take him for a walk and it was a great spot, maybe 10 mins walk to the grounds of Corsham Court where he had a great time every day. We visited Chippenham and Lacock and would recommend both, but to be honest the whole family just needed some downtime and the fact that we didn't do much exploring is proof of how comfortable the cottage was.

The Bungalow is lovely, very comfortable, clean and has everything you need and more.

It is very good for anyone with some mobility needs (as my mother had) The enclosed back garden was great for our dog, but there are lots of dog walking areas around too. The information folder and instructions were very clear and helpful as was the information on the local areas, especially the dog friendly eating places.

The property was beautifully appointed, clean and airy with a lovely private garden in the back with garden furniture.

The furniture was comfortable and made one feel “ at home” being able to eat at a dining table and rest on the settees in the evenings. In the kitchen everything was provided to cook at home with sparkling crockery and pots and pans. We would recommend anyone to stay there and work hope to do so in the future. The owner was very responsive and gave us the key code after Sykes failed to do so on supposed emails that never arrived. All in all this was the best ever rental property we have visited in venues all over the world .

It had everything you could need. The owner left a very generous welcome pack. There were lovely walks for my dog straight from the door and she spent a lot of time in the secure garden. We visited the small towns round about and they were delightful. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Would love to go again.

Erneston Crescent bungalow was very comfortable and well equipped.

A lovely small garden and patio area. We did find that we were allergic to the feather pillows and only realised at the end of our stay, that were other pillows in the divan drawer, in the main bedroom. Other than that, we had a relaxing stay and would highly recommend the cottage. Corsham was an ideal base to explore other parts of Wiltshire. Hope to book again soon.

We had a lovely week, seeing family in Bath and also enjoying quiet space and time in the bungalow.

A very generous Welcome Pack was much appreciated. The garden was perfect for our old Westie and we could relax knowing she couldn’t “escape”. We hope to return.

Lovely property - Perfect location .

1A Erneston Crescent is ideally situated within the very pleasant town of Corsham. Within easy walking distance of all its amenities, shops, restaurants and dog walking areas makes for the perfect stay. It is within driving distance of many places of interest the area has to offer. The property itself sits in a quiet crescent with no through traffic and is beautifully maintained having everything you need for a wonderful stay. The kitchen is particularly well equipped. (I was even able to do some baking!) The beds are especially comfortable and the pretty garden is completely secure. I would have no hesitation of staying here again should I visit the area in the future.

We have stayed in many holiday rentals over the last 60 years and we can honestly say that this has been the most ideal for us.

Everything was perfect. Our dog loved the proximity the open spaces, we loved the comfort, furnishings, decor and convenience to the town and many of our favourite places like Bath, Westonbirt, Marlborough, etc.

The property was well equipped in the kitchen everything that you could think of.

Very clean and comfortable would recommend. One small criticism however there is a no smoking policy which none of my family smoke anyway but a strong smell of stale tobacco in the conservatory was noticeable.

The property was spotlessly clean throughout when we arrived.

All the facilities were in good working order and everything had been thought of, with lots of nice little touches. Comfortable beds. A nice little garden and small sun room as well for sunnier days. Communications with the owner were excellent. The one bathroom was perfectly sufficient for the two of us, but obviously if the property were being used by 4 people then it could get a bit busy in the mornings. The only other downside was occasional noise from the nearby school (though this was only audible in the garden, not indoors). The property is perfectly located, near the centre of Corsham in a nice locality, within very easy reach of lots of lovely places to visit (Box, Bath, Wells, Westonbirt Arboretum, Castle Combe, Malmsbury, etc). Several excellent pubs nearby as well (especially the Quarryman's Arms in Box Hill). Overall, we would thoroughly recommend this property - comfortable, well located and good value for money.

Best holiday cottage we have rented in years.

Spotlessly clean, well decorated with very comfy bed and soft furnishings and all the equipment and utensils you could possibly need. Very well placed for exploring Bath, Chippenham and the Cotswolds. Oh and did I mention the welcome pack, wine, milk, butter, eggs, biscuits, ham, crisps etc. Faultless.

A very generous and tasty welcome pack was much appreciated. It worked very well as a base to explore the surrounding area . Nice to be in such a comfortable place to spend the evenings in. The fast EV charger nearby, and the secure garden for the dog were both big plusses.

I resent the request by both Sykes and individual owners, to strip the beds.

This started after COVID and has become the norm. It obviously makes it easier for the cleaner, but as we pay enough, I leave the beds made up. I would appreciate your comments.

Bungalow is in a lovely quiet road with a secluded and dog safe garden, large living area and bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom with bath and separate shower.

A few minutes walk into corsham town centre with good amenities and roaming peacocks! Good location for a visit to Bath, Castle Combe, Lacock and Chippenham, lots of lovely dog walks from the door. Good free view and excellent internet. Lovely welcome gifts including fresh eggs, milk, bread and orange juice and lovely home made jam. Will definitely be looking at returning, thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely cottage… an easy walk to the centre of this interesting historic town.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed, including a very generous “ starter package “. The sun room opening on to the garden was a treat. Would highly recommend as a very suitable base to explore this attractive part of Wiltshire, with Bath and several National Trust properties close to hand.

It was central for all the beautiful villages nearby and Bath. We had everything we needed at the property and a secluded garden for our small dog. Thoroughly recommend both The Methuen Arms and Flemish Weaver for meals, booking essential! The Supermarket was also only a few minutes walk away, for meals in, and The Hong Kong Chinese takeaway also very good. Everything needed for self catering was provided. Definitely recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay.

The bungalow is in a very quiet close in the most beautiful little Dikensian type town with all facilities. Well equipped, clean and comfortable with a secure garden it is all set up for a lovely stay. There are footpaths to town, and excellent walking maps available in the bungalow. The kitchen is modern and has all you will need, and there is a bath and walk in shower. If you stay hear you will want for nothing.

Lovely bed linen and towels and also great to find a few essentials on arrival like eggs coffee milk etc together with a lovely bottle of wine My daughters dog only stayed for two nights but the dog bowls and treats were welcome and the secure garden with walks out of the back gate excellent This is a great place to stay when visiting the local area-we went to Bath -would recommend the park n ride which we used on 3 days ! Also visited Longleat Safari park, Chippenham Castle Coombe and Laycock Corsham has a good selection of take aways restaurants and a few shops including a Co-op Larger superstores near Chippenham Excellent stay we loved it Thank you

1A Erneston Crescent is a rare gem.

It is a good-sized property which is very well equipped and is a real home- from-home. The welcome treats provided by the owner were much appreciated, as was entering a warm home as the heating was more than generous for the weather conditions, which is extremely unusual ! The beautiful gardens were a pleasure to look out on. We found the on-site parking very handy. There are dog walks from the cottage as well as shops within an easy walk but it is so quiet you would not know you were in a town. The monthly Craft Market was a good source of Christmas presents. We loved 1A Erneston Crescent and we loved the friendly town of Corsham.

Cleanliness was very good, everywhere so clean with lively crisp linen. The bungalow was in a quiet location but in walking distance to shops and the old, historic part of Corsham. I would certainly recommend this property.

We’ll set out property, very spacious, large garden that is a sun trap so no complaints there, enjoyed the Welcome Package left for us, short walk to Corsham shops etc, we had a wonderful time there and would definitely look at a return visit in the future.

It was a lovely surprise to find this property is even more attractive than it appears in the photos, elegantly furnished and a completely enclosed garden that is not overlooked.

Also very quiet and convenient for Corsham and walks. Also a regular bus service to Bath. We were very happy here and had everything we needed.

We would have liked a text to tell us a broadband company was closing off the road for 4 days a neighbour told us so absolutely no access to property until after at least 5pm then no where to park in pitch black to unload due to their bollards and portaloo blocking every available space.

then tuesday road also blocked all day so again no access to get car out.With mobility problems made our first 2 days quite difficult

Very good location and the property itself was left in immaculate condition.

Really good place to stay. It will be even better if there was few floor mats in the bathroom. This is just to absorb water after getting a shower.

Comfortable beds but oddly no headboard? Sofas are a tiny bit tired and a larger tv with free view at least would make for a more home from home stay. Corsham is lovely however and it was a great base for us to explore. All in all a good property.

This cottage is fantastic and well exceeded our expectations.

It is much more spacious than the photos show. The cottage had absolutely everything you could possibly want in a comfortable, extremely clean home. There isn't one thing I could think needed improving. The location is fabulous; a 5 minute walk into the beautiful little town of Corsham and all it has to offer. It is also a great location for buses into Bath and the surrounding areas. We also visited Frome, Lacock and Bradford on Avon; all were well worth a visit. We walked for miles during our week away and never tired looking at the beautiful scenery and architecture. Our poor pooch was absolutely shattered by the end of the week! Definitely recommend 1a Erneston Crescent and thank the owners for the use of their beautiful cottage.

2020 has been a very challenging year so far.

My daughter gave birth to her first child in August, however we were unable to go to Wiltshire straight away due to her having to self isolate after the birth due to Covid-19 protocol, therefore we decided to travel to Wiltshire at the later part of September. The bungalow was exceptional and the weather that week was fantastic and it was wonderful to see my 1st grandchild. I left a gift for the owners and she sent me an email and I told her how wonderful the holiday had been. We were so fortunate to be able to travel to Wiltshire when we did as Greater Manchester is now on Tier 3 and we are unable to travel out of the area. Lets pray that 2021 will be a better year for everyone.

House was very well equipped throughout with quality items.

Especially the kitchen. Bed very comfortable and good pressure in the shower (which we have found elsewhere is not always the case). House was also warm and cosy with effective central heating and plenty hot water on demand. Quiet and peaceful location with a small private back garden - yet all within easy walk to village centre, shops and pubs/restaurants. Suited us very well for our quiet week away from home. Only thing to watch out for is parking. Although there is space on the small private drive for our medium size car (Honda HRV), reversing in or out of it was very tricky. We parked on the road in the end. Overall we were very pleased with this property which was also good value for money.

Excellent cottage for dog owners with all facilities on a single level and a fully enclosed garden.

It was especially well provided for kitchen equipment and the bath and shower were excellent. Beds are comfy with good quality clean duvets and pillows. Internet and tv were fine. We liked the open plan living and dining area with patio door to the garden. Parking space a bit tight for a very large car but fine when you get used to it. Everything was very clean. We also liked the location being within 5 minutes walk of Corsham town centre and its pubs, Co-Op and takeaways. Sainsburys, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl are all also nearby in Chippenham

We chose this property because it had everything we needed for a late summer break.

It can be quite a challenge to find a cottage that accommodates dogs that isn't in the middle of nowhere, but also with parking. The bungalow was clean and spacious, with everything we needed, and we were very comfortable there. The wine and snacks on the dining table were an unexpected surprise! It was so nice to have a holiday, giving us a sense of 'normality' during these stressful times.

The property is very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen.

We enjoyed sitting in the pleasant enclosed garden, which was perfect for our dog. Corsham itself is a peaceful location and ideal for exploring the nearby villages, including Lacock and Castle Combe, as well as the beautiful city of Bath. We also enjoyed our evening walks around Corsham and the grounds of Corsham Court.
