The Coach House
Description
The Coach House, Burford is a very special place indeed. Having recently been lovingly restored by the owners, today this chic and sweet country cottage is the perfect place for a family or group of friends to enjoy in one of the Cotswolds most well known villages. This inviting residence was historically the old coach house to the nearby pub and the owners have taken time to retain the period charm of the building whilst ensuring that they've provided a truly luxurious "home from home" for guests. Downstairs the kitchen/diner is flooded with light from the roof lantern and the large windows offer a view over the sunny walled garden. The handmade wooden kitchen is both a chef's delight and a sociable family-friendly environment. The characterful Living Room with exposed beams, stone, fireplace, the fire in the living room is a realistic flame effect electric fire, this is a haven in which to relax. Upstairs three good size bedrooms and three quality en suite bathrooms set this apart from many other similar size cottages. Viewed from all of the cottage but hidden from the world beyond, there is a sunny, south facing walled garden and flagstone patio.
Note: No pets. And then? Well Burford's delights are right on your doorstep - so what more do you need?! Fun, relaxation, a step back in time and luxury are all found in equal amounts here at The Coach House - you will love it, we're certain.

What guests are saying
We had a lovely stay at The Coach House in Burford.
The location was perfect. Off a side street but a quick walk to shops, coffee and bakeries. We adored the neighborhood. It was beautiful and felt very safe. The accommodations were nice and cozy. All of the basics were accounted for. I would have enjoyed more stocks of toiletries like toilet paper and shower soaps, and extra blankets in the bedrooms would have been appreciated. But overall we had a lovely stay and this was a great home base for exploring the Cotswolds. I would stay here again!
Overall, the accommodation was as described.
We felt there are areas that could definitely benefit from some inspection. The sofas are tired, and grubby. I was in the twin room, where the beds looked very unkempt on arrival, dusty headboards, difficult mirror position, and FILTHY extension cable. The top bedroom no valance, which again looked tatty. Maintenance definitely needed. Good selection of kitchen equipment, and bathrooms clean and well stocked. Overall, a good visit.
Our 2nd stay at the coach house, comfortable beds good en-suite showers.
Loads of shops and pubs within 2 minutes walk, only criticism this time was the noise Monday to Thursday between 6-7am bottle collection from pub then beer delivery and refuse collection so impossible to have a lie in not sure if this happens every week or we were unlucky but never had this happen during our last stay
