Cleeveley Cottage is a charming Grade II Listed Cotswold Cottage set in a very picturesque village. The cottage, which dates back to the 16th Century, has undergone considerable renovation creating a stunning holiday home. Internally there many period features incl a Tudor stone fireplace with woodburner, mullion windows and flagstone floors. The cottage enjoys a quiet location down a no-through lane with an enclosed cottage garden to its rear. The hamlet of Holwell is a few miles from Burford.
We fell in love with this cottage and are quite sure you will too!
ACCOMMODATION
Entrance through to lobby and open plan living space.
Living/Dining Room, with large sofa, armchair, fireplace with wood burning stove, large flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and ipod docking station. Dining table comfortably sits 4. Door to the cottage garden
Kitchen, fully equipped, with electric double oven and hob, microwave, washing machine / tumble drier, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
First Floor:
Approached via the original wooden, now carpetted, spiral staircase leading from the living room to the upstairs landing.
Bedroom One has a King size wrought iron double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers plus a LCD TV with Freeview.
Family Bathroom a lovely and spacious room with a bath, separate shower, wash basin and WC.
Second Floor:
Approached via the original wooden,now carpetted, spiral staircase!
Snug with additional sofa (turns into sofa bed, for two extra persons, charged at £40 per person, per week or per stay) plus a large 37" Plasma TV with Freeview and DVD player.

Bedroom Two a lovely, vaulted room with views across the village, two single beds wardrobe
Outside,
There is an enclosed, walled cottage garden with bench and seating, BBQ.
Preference for Friday Changeover please. Children Welcome. 2 Cots & 1 High Chair available. WiFi available through the cottage. An initial supply of wood is provided for the wood burning stove.

Local Information
Holwell is a small unspoilt hamlet, located just 2 miles outside Burford. It is a very peaceful location, ideal for long walks and day trips to some of the Cotswolds most beautiful villages. It's central location makes it equally ideal for visiting places such as Cirencester, Stow on the Wold or Broadway - all within a reasonable drive. The everpopular Bourton on the Water is about 20 mins away
There are many excellent pubs near by (but not in Holwell) including those to be found in the following surrounding villages of Eastleach Turville, Southrop and Shilton and Burford, you are spoilt for choice!
For a day trip why not consider Oxford or Cheltenham, Stratford Upon Avon or Bath all of which are within a reasonable drive.
