    “We absolutely loved our weekend at Highcroft cottage.”

    It was a beautiful home full of character. The gardens were gorgeous and the sun was shining. Location was perfect albeit traffic busy and noisy but that didn’t spoil it at all.

This delightful, semi-detached cottage is ideally located within easy reach of the ancient town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

The property has five lovely bedrooms, including one set on the ground floor and a master bedroom with en-suite facilities.

Highcroft is a house with 2 halves.

There are 2 staircases, one leading from the entrance hall to the master bedroom with an ensuite and a small room with a single bed with trundle bed under.

This room is an adjoining room between the 2 halves.The other staircase leads from the downstairs bedroom to the other landing with the family bathroom and 3 bedrooms, including the adjoining room leading off. The spacious, farmhouse-style kitchen offers a welcoming dining area, while the cosy sitting room is accompanied by a warming open fire.

In the summer, the patio doors can be swept open to invite inside a cooling breeze.

Outside, the large, private lawned garden is ideal for an alfresco feast, while a shared tennis court and a further 2.5 acres of unique wildlife gardens, shared with the adjoining holiday cottages, will be adored by all.

This cottage is located just two miles away from the medieval town of Stratford-upon-Avon, in 2.5 acres of shared grounds, including a wildlife garden and a tennis court. The property provides comfortable, versatile accommodation surrounded by beautiful, unspoilt countryside. Nearby, Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of William Shakespeare and the home of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The town offers horse racing and many typically Tudor buildings at every turn, housing a very good selection of cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs serving real ales and excellent food. Many footpaths and cycling trails can easily be found nearby should you wish to stretch your legs and the beautiful Cotswolds are also within easy reach, making this the perfect place for a relaxing break at any time of year.
