Renowned as the birthplace of Anne Hathaway, this pretty location boasts many black and white thatched cottages and a welcoming inn serving real ales and delicious food. Shakespeare's Stratford is within easy reach, with its famous theatre, striking architecture, characterful shops and pubs and lovely, riverside walks, whilst the medieval castles at nearby Kenilworth and Warwick are not to be missed.
