Wyck Rissington, Bourton on the Water & surrounding area
These fabulous barns are the perfect place for a get-together, located within very easy of Burford, Bouton on the Water and Stow on the Wold - the very heart of the Cotswolds. Court Hayes Farm Barns are simply perfect and have everything a family or group of friends could wish for. Two barns set very close to each other, no more than a few paces apart, each fully equipped to a high and exacting standard, yet able to easily accommodate a full quota of eight for meals and for fun! The larger of the two barns has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a vast living area (with the large dining table), while the smaller, cuter barn has a double bedroom, bathroom (plus kitchen etc) as well as its own hot tub. The good news is five people can comfortably sit in the tub, the bad news is that three of you will have to wait patiently for your turn! Inside the two barns, the accommodation is spotless, spacious and presented in a stylish tone, outisde you have plenty of space to spread out and then head off down the hill towards Bourton and its many delights. Fancy a pub? Well you have two within a few miles to choose from. Looking for Daylesford Organic Farm Shop? This is just 15 mins by car.
We love these barns for many reasons, but especially as they're perfect for groups who want to come together, but like a little privacy too. And for walkers - there are beautiful countryside walks galore!! Heavenly....

Court Hayes Farm Barns sits on a little lane at the top of the hill just outside the villages of Little Rissington and Wyck Rissington. Wyck (pronounced 'wick') is more a hamlet, but very pretty nonetheless, hidden down a lane making it a place that you would hardly know exists unless you were sent there! Little Rissington is similarly small and classic, laden with chocolate box Cotswold cottages in every direction every inch the typical, local village for this region.
The location of the property is ideal for people who fancy getting out and about to see some of the most well known parts of the Cotswolds. Bourton on the Water is about 5 mins away and there you will find many of the famous elements which make the Cotswolds so popular with visitors. Stow on the Wold and Burford are each within 10mins (max) and in both you will find a very wide and excellent range of shops, restaurants and bars not to mention places to browse.
Your nearest pub is probably The Lamb at Great Rissington and for fine dining The Feathered Nest in Nether Westcote, which serves excellent food (very good indeed!) but above all has an incredible postion overlooking the Cotswolds and its views. You will find it spectacular.
Bourton is particularly known for its very pretty feel, especially the six arched bridges which cross the river that passes through the village as well as a few family attractions - The Motor Museum, Birdland and The Model Village are all good little excursions. Lower Slaughter and Upper Slaughter are very close and are amongst the most beautiful villages in the entire Cotswolds.
Slightly further afield are The Cotswolds Farm Park at Guiting Power (think Adam Henson and his healthy farming brigade!!) and The Cotswold Wildlife Park in Burford with lions and a wide selection of other animals.
There are some superb walks from your door, but be warned, the hills can get steep so prepare yourself with the right kit, but it is definitely worth it, especially with your pooch.
"A very well equipped and beautifully furnished barn. Such a great place for all families and ages. Especially with the use of the hot tub! "Mrs Pryde 2017-11-08
"Both the Stables and the Bothy were finished and furnished to a standard we haven't come across in previous lets, usually in Cornwall. All the the party enjoyed the stay immensely as there was plenty of space to relax in and not feel you were falling over each other all the time. The hot tub was especially enjoyed by the younger members of the party. Mr Dawson, July 2017."Dawson 2017-07-11
